Golden Hour House OB is made for sunsets, with beautiful sit-down ocean views, bay views, and an ideal location just blocks from the beach and the heart of Ocean Beach. As the sun goes down, the garden begins to glow—a lush, private retreat visited by hummingbirds and butterflies. Inside, this bright and airy coastal home offers 3 bedrooms, 3 en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and private driveway parking for 3 cars. Come home from the beach, settle into the garden, and watch the sky change over the Pacific.

The home is designed for easy coastal living, with ocean and bay views, comfortable gathering spaces, and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, stainless steel cookware, serving pieces, Graza olive oil, spices, coffee and tea. Open living and dining areas make it easy to cook, eat and relax together.

All three bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, giving families, couples and groups more privacy during their stay. The split-level layout also creates a natural sense of separation between sleeping spaces. The primary bedroom is up a half flight of stairs, while another bedroom is down a half flight and has its own exterior entrance in addition to interior access to the rest of the home—an especially nice setup for guests who appreciate a little extra independence.

Bedrooms feature luxury Boll & Branch linens, while bathrooms are stocked with Public Goods bath products and plush towels woven from Turkish cotton and modal.

For longer stays, the house includes a dedicated workspace, full-size washer and dryer, laundry supplies, games, books and other everyday essentials. Air conditioning keeps the main living areas comfortable on warmer San Diego days.

Beach days are easy here. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, paddle balls, beach towels, coolers and boogie boards, so you can head to the water without packing all the extras.

Outside, there are two separate garden and patio areas for enjoying San Diego’s coastal weather. The back garden offers ocean and bay views and becomes especially beautiful at golden hour, with plenty of room to sit outside and take in the sunset. The private front patio offers another inviting space for morning coffee, outdoor dining or relaxing after the beach. The drought-tolerant garden attracts hummingbirds and butterflies and gives the property a lush, distinctly Southern California feel.

Golden Hour House is tucked onto a quiet residential street in Ocean Beach, while still putting you within an easy walk of the neighborhood’s best-loved spots. The main beach is just a few blocks away, as are Newport Avenue, Azucar bakery, Sourdough & Moore, local coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and the Wednesday Ocean Beach Farmers Market.

A long private driveway provides off-street parking for up to three cars, a particularly convenient feature in a walkable beach neighborhood. Once you’re here, much of Ocean Beach can be explored on foot.

Golden Hour House is a residential home rather than a party property, and we ask guests to enjoy the neighborhood with consideration for our neighbors. Parties, events and excessive noise are not permitted.
