Welcome to this charming house located half-way between Milan and Trenton, TN. Relax with the whole family away from the hustle and bustle of big city life. This house sits over a quarter mile off the road on a 5-acre lake. Start your morning sipping coffee on the front porch as you watch the sunrise over the lake. End your day grilling on the back patio as the sun drops behind the backyard pond. Enjoy a day of fishing where you can catch bass, brim and catfish or just relax with a good book and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Here, you will find tranquility! Disclosure- This house has an outdoor security camera monitoring garage. Signed Rental Agreement required to secure booking.

While this was a fairly short stay, we really enjoyed ourselves! Beautiful home and property. Heat and humidity were brutal but we still made time (and enjoyed) a little fishing and coffee on the patio. Loved the open floor plan! Absolutely NO complaints!

Weekend get away

Pam was very responsive from the start. The directions and expectations were very clear. Pam was quick to respond to any question we had. She even went out of her way to help with an item we left behind. House was impeccably cleaned, organized, and equipped with everything anyone would need. The decore of the home was top notch making us feel like we were in an upscale environment. The extra snacks made us feel welcome and comfortable. The pond and patio was so relaxing and view was beautiful. This was a hard house to leave the only regret was not having more time. We will be back to enjoy this hidden gem.

This was the perfect place for 3 brothers in their seventies to get together. We all attended a wedding in Humboldt and staying at the Tranquil Lakeside Retreat was perfect!

Home Away From Home

Our six-night stay was actually BETTER than being at home -- because of luxuries like the soaker jet tub, outdoor grill, gas fireplace, and a sublime view. The house was stocked with every comfort, more than we needed or were used to, and Pam and Jim were the most generous and gracious hosts, making our family feel like family. The decor alone was sumptious and soothing. Although we were in town out of necessity, for a funeral, we would go out of our way to stay here again. We partook in perks from playing the piano, sampling the games provided, and walking the expansive property, communing with nature and the resident donkeys! Thanks so much for a memorable, hassle-free stay.
