The house was awesome and perfect for our bachelor party. Highly reccomend. The pool is also a great plus. Loved the back yard with the covered patio, grill, and propane fire pit. Couldn't ask for much more!

Our property manager was very responsive throughout our stay. Location was very convenient to the beach. House was cute and pool was perfect and heated for the cooler weather over spring break week.

Beautiful home. It was clean and had all of the extras that many homes do not. Everything we could possibly have wanted for cooking was provided in the kitchen and the home was a good size for our party of five. There was no adult bedroom on the main floor which wasn’t convenient for my 83 year old mother, but that was my fault for not confirming with the owner the location of the bedrooms. The pool was a huge win - love the beach but hate swimming in the ocean (and there were double red flags most of the week that we were there). Overall, it was one of the best homes that we’ve ever rented in this area and we would definitely stay again.

Super engaged and helpful host. This place was clean, comfortable, and had all we needed for our family of four. Private pool, gas fire pit, comfortable living space to lounge and visit, and porches on both levels. This is literally the first time in 30 years of marriage/family we’ve done a beach vacation and not stayed beach front… and it was great. Super easy walk to the beach with a wagon, public beach access was great, and multiple restaurants you can walk to. Check out Camille’s (several minute walk) for coffee/breakfast/lunch, and dinner with a very eclectic menu. Very, very good and a top 5 pizza I’ve had in my life. Definitely recommend A Dose of Destin!

I could go on and on about how perfect the house was -- well-furnished, clean, great pool and short walk from the beach. But what was truly exceptional about our stay compared to many other vrbo experiences was our host, Emily. She was warm, kind, attentive to our needs, highly responsive and provided the best level of customer sevice.

Our stay at A Dose of Destin was absolutely outstanding! I was genuinely impressed by every detail, from the private pool to the incredible amount of supplies provided throughout the home. It’s rare to find a vacation rental that is so thoughtfully stocked, but this home had everything we needed for our entire week-long stay. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper, cooking utensils, and all the kitchen essentials you could possibly need.The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and appliances and made preparing meals easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated having plenty of beach and pool towels, along with ample linens for every bathroom.Emily was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond in answering every question we had—and even questions we didn’t think to ask. Her communication made the entire experience seamless.You can truly see the thoughtfulness in every little detail throughout the home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and designed to make guests feel welcome. We will 100% stay here again and cannot recommend A Dose of Destin enough. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

This is a perfect house for a family. You get three bedrooms and three bathrooms and a good sized pool. The A/C kept up and kept us cool during our June trip. Walk to coffee shop, mall, grocery and beach. Perfect location! The host was fantastic with communication!

Excellent communication. Emily answered each of my questions quickly and clearly. The house is beautiful, in an excellent location, and the neighborhood is very convenient, with everything close by, but especially access to the beach. I definitely recommend it and would stay in this house again.

Claudia and her guests were wonderful! It was a last minute booking but Claudia was very responsive and always respectful and kind in her communication. They left the house in great shape and followed all of the house rules. It was a pleasure to host their group and we would be honored to host them again anytime in the future!

Backyard oasis convenient to the beach

Lots of amenities added to our family fun- heated pool, fire pit, well stocked kitchen and games, beach chairs and a wagon to transport them in! Convenient to the beach and shopping. Emily is a kind and responsive host.

This property is one of a kind. The owner was VERY informative on everything months before we stayed, right before and during our trip. Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. The house was perfect! We had a party of 10, 6 of them being kids. The home is very cozy. The furniture is top notch, comfortable seating, each bed was very comfortable! The pool was very clean, we spent a lot of time in it! Everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. A true family oriented type of house & owners and we cannot wait to go back.
