Ryan, glad the location worked out. That's honestly why we love this house — coffee, brunch, and dinner are all a short walk up 9th, and downtown is a few minutes past that. Small but comfy home worked great for us. Short trip to the U any about anything else you need. We found coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The house has obviously had some work put into it but still has the original charm.

This home was absolutely gorgeous! Lots of space, super clean, and stocked with any amenity you could possibly need! It is a duplex, but we were not able to hear the guests next to us and they couldn't hear us either. I would absolutely book here again! Thanks for letting us stay here!

Makai, it made our whole week reading this — six people, one night in Salt Lake, and you all somehow found the sweet spot between a fun evening and a peaceful stay. That's not always easy to pull off, and clearly your crew nailed it. The duplex comment genuinely made us smile. We always flag it upfront because we want guests to know what they're walking into, but you're proof that good neighbors on both sides make all the difference. Really glad the walls did their job. 9th & 9th is one of our favorite pockets of the city, and it sounds like you got to experience exactly why we love hosting there. Whenever you're back in SLC, 521 Gallacher will be ready for you — we'd love to have the whole group again. John & Shawn

I have only compliments of superlative level for John and Sawn the hosts. The place was a cute as a button, had all we needed to enjoy our stay and was so convenient for getting to SLC. I must commend the hosts for the quick responses and flexibility with my having scheduled the place for one day less than I thought I had. My friend and I are grateful that we didn’t have to find a motel for our last evening. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location close to downtown, charming little home with good character. Exactly as shown in photos. Great setup for our group who traveled together for a conference. Would stay again.

Our primary reason to rent this property was due to the location to family. Everything about the unit was great and the host for this property was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and satisfied. The property is just like the pictures show and was very comfortable for my family. We couldn't beat the location and enjoyed a short walk over the the 9th and 9th area for some shopping and good food. Would definintely recommend to anyone looking for a rental while visiting Salt Lake City.

Great location near Trolley Square. The bedroom with twin beds is in the basement with extremely low ceilings…. Some parts where the ceiling are barely six feet. It would be fine for children but my son-in-law is 6’3”. The private patio was locked and not accessible and not private…. It was behind the adjacent unit. A lack of outlets required long extension cords in the first floor BR which had no dresser and a very small closet. The kitchen counter top was chipped and appeared to be paint over a wood composite and the range needs cleaned.

We had an excellent stay, and our hosts provided great communication well and made themselves available if we had any issues, but we did not. I would recommend this property to others and would stay there again if we are back in the area.

Check in was super easy and the host was communicative and available. Place is in an excellent, convenient location close to everything and is a good value for the price point. Our son is headed to school at the university in the fall and we were in town for orientation - we’ll likely check availability of this property in the future as it checked all the boxes for our needs!
