I am totally in love with this property - it is just fabulous. So many original features, fantastic views and in a lovely part of Devon. This impressive house sits on the top of a hill overlooking Teignmouth and Shaldon, so during the day you can see the sea over to the left and the boats moored up in the estuary below. At night, you can see the coastline lit up by the towns of Teignmouth and Shaldon. During our stay, we caught the small ferry over to Shaldon and had lunch at The Ness, which is a really beautiful restaurant and then walked through the smugglers tunnel to Ness Cove Beach, which was spectacular. We also sat and had a few drinks at the Ship Inn in Teignmouth and had lunch nextdoor at the Crab Shack, both of which I would thoroughly recommend. If you feel like some fish and chips, then i would recommend Finn McCools, which is on the sea front. The town of Teignmouth is fairly small and quiet but there are plenty of places to eat, listen to live music and have a few drinks.
