Just 2 blocks from Downtown Ocean Springs, 1 mile from Front Beach and 2 miles to the Biloxi Casinos. The Lemongrass Loft at The Mockingbird Inn Boutique Hotel can accommodate 2 Adults for a comfortable getaway (2 Adults max, unfortunately no children or pets) . This charming old southern home is nestled in the Historic Marble Springs District under 200 year old Live Oak Trees. With 2 soothing queen beds, a nice bathroom featuring a soaking tub and glass corner shower, full kitchen, office space and convenient amenities like WiFi, AC, On Site Parking, guests will feel right at home.
**The kitchen is located on the 1st floor while the Living Room, Bedrooms & Bathroom are located on the 2nd floor only accessible by a flight of steps. For easier access please consider one of our other suites with minimal steps: Mockingbird Inn- Magnolia, Azalea, Willow, Marble Springs Cottage or Fern Suites** We can accept small dogs in The Willow, Magnolia, Azalea & Fern. $75 Non-refundable Pet Fee.

Hey Y'all! We are Troy and Kim Mitchell. We relocated to the Coast in 2021 from Illinois in 2021 after we purchased this 1899 built home and embarked on a 10 month transformation to develop a 5 Suite Boutique Hotel. We are the proud parents of four grown children and 2 beautiful grandchildren that are our pride and joy! After our kids were raised we decided to move to the Mississippi Coast where Troy was born, from Illinois.
The Inn is located just blocks from Downtown Ocean Springs, Front Beach, The Walter Anderson Museum, beautiful art galleries, shopping, dining & fun. Since opening the MBI we have hosted guests from all over the country and other countries as well.
