Welcome to the tranquility of country living at Barn-Suite. The perfect private space for two to celebrate an intimate occasion.
Located in Sonoma's central area, this lovely guest suite provides just what you need for your upcoming trip. Located on a private drive, a garden path leads you to your secluded suite overlooking the walnut trees and vineyards.
Enjoy your complimentary bottle of Ricci wine. If your stay is 2-3 nights or more, Susan will surprise you with a local 'nosh board'.
The fridge is filled with Pellegrino water and milk for your coffee.
If our organic garden is ripe, you may taste the bounty of our harvest.
As you enter through the private entrance gate and step inside the the suite, you'll be greeted with a refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, Harney & Sons Tea, and a basket of snacks and fresh baked Chocolate chip cookies treats during your stay.
Unwind in the cozy outdoor private patio living area, where you can curl up by the outdoor fire table and enjoy the view. Step outside and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the outdoor pool and soak in the serene ambiance. Explore the nearby Napa Valley Wine Train, just a 19-minute drive away, or discover the vibrant Sonoma Plaza, just 6 minutes from your doorstep. Hike up in back of Sonoma plaza, to the water tower or bike up Cavedale Road in Glen Ellen to Random Ridge outlook over looking Sonoma valley.
Glen Ellen is a charming and quaint destination about 8 miles up valley. This town is where the writer Jack London settled back in the early 1900's. His "Castle-like home" did burn although remnants remain for touring the grounds.
In the Barn-Suite find essentials like, toiletries, cushy robes, towels, and air conditioning, this vacation suite provides all the comforts you need for an unforgettable stay in Sonoma.

We had the most wonderful time at this cozy cottage for our anniversary. Susan & Gary are fantastic - very welcoming and genuinely great people. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners put so much thought into every detail. The place is spotless and stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the fresh bread, bottle of wine, yummy snacks, and the sweetest surprise was chocolate covered strawberries marking our years of marriage! Such a thoughtful and personal touch. If you're looking for a unique and cozy getaway, this is it! We can't wait to go back!

A slice of heaven with cheesecake on the side
This is a gem of a property, the owner treats guests impeccably and the property is filled with everything that you need to relax and enjoy your stay. From the moment we drove up the driveway we felt welcomed. The unit is bright and airy with a wonderful private patio that is surrounded by fruit trees. The owner takes great pride in the care of her numerous gardens and this property shows like it was ripped from the pages of a magazine...she shared the most magnificent figs we have ever had and her cakes...ask about those!! Then you too will eat one for breakfast and not feel a tinge of guilt. Hands down a 5 star experience from start to finish and a great location to boot. We will return......

Susan has the most unique, personal, inviting space that made our stay a delight! She included so many thoughtful touches that really elevated the experience, like homemade cookies and bread, a bottle of wine, and even provided flip flops to wear out to her lovely pool. Her property is gorgeous and really showcases the beauty of the area!

Susan and Gary were amazing hosts! We will definitely be back. My wife and I travelled here for our anniversary. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, snacks, and plenty other things to make us feel right at home. Their property is beautiful and quiet. They gave us privacy and were also open to share recommendations of places to go when we asked.They even baked us an anniversary cake.I can’t say enough about their hospitality.10/10 recommend.

From the fresh baked bread, fruits from the garden and local cheeses that our hosts provided upon check-in to the comfy queen bed to the sparkling pool and the heated bathroom floor, our hosts made this a wonderful experience we will long remember. We loved staying in the Barn Suite, and can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful suite and a lovely outside area for relaxing after a long day sightseeing. The garden was peaceful and firepit was perfect for the cool evenings. We definitely recommend!

Our stay at the barn suites was nothing short of magical. The property itself was exactly what you would dream Sonoma could be. We were surrounded by Mountain Views, dahlia‘s, growing vegetables, fruit trees, and grape vines. We were just moments from Sonoma Plaza, but we felt as if we were completely on our own. Susan and Gary were exceptional hosts. We were greeted with a charcuterie board that could not be rivaled-all sourced from local ingredients and included cheesecake- the best we have ever tasted! Susan is an accomplished pastry chef- she left incredible chocolate chip cookies in our room. We were celebrating our 50th birthday and she presented us with a delicious birthday cake. The private (heated!) pool was such a special part of our stay. Chickens strutted around the property, we saw a beautiful birds and foxes. We would venture out for wineries, biking and exploring during the day- but looked forward to returning to the barn suite at night, where we lit the gas fire and listened to the crickets. Susan, Gary, and their sweet dog, Ginger were the best hosts around. We can’t wait to return!

We had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful and had a very private, wonderful backyard. The owners had a lovely pool as well which we were free to use. They gave wonderful recommendations around town, were very communicative and welcoming

A family reunion brought us to Sonoma and the stay at the Barn Suite completed the weekend!The grounds were picturesque…bountiful vegetable garden, fruit trees filled with offerings, a lovely pool and private patio with cozy seating.The bluebirds were busy delivering food to their babies.The suite was well equipped, bed was extremely comfortable and her homemade cookies were the perfect touch!Thank you!!!!

As lovely as lovely could be

The Sonoma Barn Suite was ideal for us—in the country but close to town, lots of light, comfy bed, delightful, considerate host, beautiful swimming pool. Truly, Susan took care of every imaginable detail. We wanted for nothing except to be there longer!

Great communication with hosts. Loved the “Barn Suite”. Great attention to detail creating a home away from home experience-fresh sunflowers and roses, fresh baked sourdough bread and garden grown fruit and veggies, ample towels, personal toiletries. From the moment we were greeted with a warm smile, a delicious “nosh” board, and fresh fruit from their garden.The suite itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well-appointed — everything felt curated with care. The kitchen and bathroom were more than fully stocked, with extras that went above and beyond our expectations. The space is private and gated, making it feel like a peaceful sanctuary. The private patio was perfect for quiet and serene mornings with coffee and winding down in the evening with a glass of wine with the fire going. The location is ideal — just a 5-minute drive to Sonoma Plaza, but tucked away enough that you feel like you’re in your own little wine country escape.Susan and Gary are exceptional hosts, and their place is truly special. The Barn Suite was clean and very well appointed. Set in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes drive from Sonoma Square within a lovely little ecosystem. Gary and Susan were incredibly welcoming and their property is full of fun—chickens, an active owl box, yummy fruits and vegetables and a relaxing pool. They make you feel like family—giving you great local recommendations, unexpected treats from Susan’s kitchen which are an absolute delight and sharing tidbits about their property. Way above and beyond! We enjoyed walking in the vineyard behind their home, treating the sheep across the way to fallen fruit and hanging out with their beautiful dog Ginger. This is paradise!! We will be back for sure! Thank you Gary and Susan!!

My wife Katy and I stayed here 4 days in July 2026. From the moment we booked, comms with the host, Susan, were the best comms experience yet, with so much info provided about the property, the checkin, what to do on the way and of course what to do while in Sonoma. This level of communication continued throughout our stay and helped us get the most out of vineyard and dining experiences. Susan and Gary are masterful hosts. They are so friendly and open, and they made us feel like relatives visiting from out of town. We rented e-bikes in town and at one point my wife got a flat and Gary dug a bike pump out of the garage and helped me with it. Susan made us a delish nosh board and paired it with a wine. She shared fresh fruit growing on her property and baked us cookies. Note that she is a nationally recognized world-class pastry chef and her creations blew us away. Try the plums and pears if offered and available.Ok, onto the suite. It has everything two people could need and is very romantic with artful touches everywhere - you'll notice something new every day. The patio is a work of art with a view through a gate to the backyard next to a vineyard. There are hummingbirds that come to visit there and they were a treat. The pool was heated and available whenever we asked. Ginger, their pointer, was a sweetheart and she visited us a few times, then would go her own way. In summary, we feel lucky that we booked this stay. It was peaceful there and we took away great memories.

What is there to say except Susan has truly thought of everything! Before we even arrived she was sharing local information for the 4th of July! With her help we were able to see the fireworks from the back yard while enjoying a local bottle of wine, an unexpected pleasure without having to brave any crowds. You also have not experienced 5 star service until you have stayed with Susan, Gary and Ginger! Susan is exceptional in the kitchen supplying us with delicious treats for my birthday, a beautiful nosh board, and a delicious selection from their magnificent garden! The pool was a perfect way to enjoy the nice California weather and again Susan has thought of everything from the sunscreen and towels to the pool sandals and floaties! The space inside is quite roomy with some lovely personal touches and a wonderful full bathroom with the unexpected pleasure of heated floors! The private patio area will really have you feeling like a VIP with beautiful landscaping that gives privacy without compromising on beautiful sunset views over the winery next door! This stay is a 5 star experience hidden in the Sonoma Valley and we cannot wait to return!

Beyond a 10/10 – Absolutely Heavenly!This place is perfect whether you are traveling solo, with a friend, or with a significant other. The grounds are breathtaking—exactly what I imagine heaven to look like.Our hosts were truly out of this world and thought of absolutely everything. The property is loaded with amazing amenities, from the heated bathroom floors to the pool and the cozy fire pit. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a spectacular charcuterie board and homemade cookies that were to die for. They even left fun little treats outside our door each day (I'm still thinking about those delicious plums!).We felt incredibly safe during our stay, as the property is gated and we were provided with our own gate key. Whenever I am back in the area, there is no doubt where I will be staying. This place is well beyond a 10 in my mind! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and lovely hosts made our get away for our anniversary unforgettable! The barn suite is super comfy and well appointed. The suite is located just minutes from wineries, shopping and restaurants making it perfect for our visit.

I live on the property with my husband Gary and Ginger our German short-haired pointer. We hope you like dogs! Ginger our Pointer is our greeter. She is very friendly and loves to say hi. We also have chickens that have a lot to say. Safety is first so just our critters. We do not invite service animals, emotional support animals or therapy animals, they are not a fit with our property.

We've lived here for 12 years now and love it! We have fully landscaped our property and built a pool. We've built a workshop for canning our tomatoes and pickling peppers and walled in a guest suite.
I was a professionally acclaimed baker "Elegant Cheese Cakes" but life has changed and I am a farmer, chicken lover and dog mom. However, I still have a passion for baking-cooking so you may be subject to my goods!

As you pull onto Mosta Way, a small country lane, very quiet and peaceful setting in the Carneros region. Surrounded by vineyards of chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapevines.
You'll notice sheep across the way, very private property with views of sunrise and sunsets. Sunday- Monday mornings you may see the hot air balloons overhead.
2-1/2 miles to Sonoma plaza where there are shops and restaurants to visit.

We have over 2 acres of country living, the barn suite is gated and secure with your private parking, secluded patio and use of our 85 degrees pool. Beautiful sunsets and enjoy a libation underneath a large shaded cedar arbor. Relax on 2 chase lounges for an afternoon to rejuvenate. It's a slice of paradise!
