Bring your large group to enjoy a private retreat on acreage with the privacy of a gated entrance. We have a spacious HOUSE & BARNDOMINIUM about 80 yards apart that sleeps up to 40 in 13BRs combined! (Add Garage Suite that sleeps 10 more for EXTRA CHARGE & sleep a total of 50! See details below.) Enjoy a stunning view from our screened-in porch & activities that includes a pickleball court.

Situated 23 min from KCI, 7 min to Liberty, 25 min to Chiefs/Royals stadiums, & 30 min to downtown KC.

GARAGE SUITE:
Our new garage suite sleeps 10 more for EXTRA CHARGE. Pictures and amenities can be seen in extra photos. The space is NOT included in on the listing price or bed count. It is 1,150 sqft studio space with kitchenette, 1 full bath, and 6 twinXL + 2 full size beds. New space cost: $250 per night more + $150 cleaning fee. Please inquire if you would like to rent with your booking.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
This 5-bed, 3-bath house sleeps 15 max. It features a huge 1000 sq ft living room with an 86" smart LG TV. The master suite has an attached bath with a shower and jacuzzi tub. Amenities include a screened-in front porch, a back patio with a propane grill. Access is via a gated entrance with a unique 4-digit code. Parking is available in front of the garage or along the drive.
BR 1: King bed, 32" smart TV, attached full bath (jacuzzi), walk-in closet. Sleeps 2.
BR 2: Queen bed, 32" smart TV. Sleeps 2.
BR 3: 3 full beds, 32" smart TV. Sleeps 6.
BR 4: 1 full bed. Sleeps 2.
BR 5: 1 queen bed. Sleeps 2.
Living room: Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 1.
Kitchen: Fully stocked, walk-in pantry, connected full bath, coffee bar.
Back porch: Laundry area, connects to back patio.
Front porch: Screened-in, seating, swing for sunrise viewing.
Fire pit: Wood, lighter, paper, and roasting sticks provided.
Back patio: Propane grill, fenced-in yard.

BARNDO DESCRIPTION:
The entire barndo sleeps 25 max with 8 bedrooms (including the loft studio suite), 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 living areas. The main level has a large gathering space (approx. 850 sq ft) with a kitchen, dining area, and a 70" smart Vizio TV. The laundry is in the loft studio suite's bath. The main living room connects to 4 BRs/2 baths on the north side and 3 BRs on the south side. The loft has an upper deck with stairs to the fenced backyard. Access is via a gated entrance with a unique 4-digit code. Plenty of parking on the North, West, & South sides.

Overall, the property was clean, it was very spacious, and met our needs. We had 24 people total, including 14 adults (2 of them older teens) and no one was hurting for space! The property with the house and barndo gave us ample room for the kids to run and play, there are two swings that they lived, we took advantage of the outdoor area often, including a family pickleball tournament and a few rounds of tetherball! We would definitely come back and stay here again!

We had our small family wedding here and enjoyed staying in such a beautiful area. Both homes were clean and well stocked with towels, bed linens, and kitchen items. We were able to host immediate family for a casual rehearsal dinner and the larger group outside for the wedding the day after. Paul was an amazing host and was extremely helpful and responsive!

This was a great place for a family reunion/celebration of life for my father-in-law. The two houses gave us plenty of space to gather or spread out. We had ages one year to 60 and there were activities for all. Set in a quiet, rural setting but 10 minutes away from stores if we need anything. Paul was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely rent again!

We arrived and found a very wonderful place for our family reunion. It was spacious, clean, had a comfortable set up, and everything we needed for a wonderful week. We actually stayed in two places on the property to accommodate our 36 family members. We had space outside to play games, and space inside to spend time together. It really was even better than I hoped for. I had one question during the week, and the owners answered me within five minutes of reaching out to them. Great communication! The price is very fair and the property is located in a beautiful part of the valley. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time in Kansas City, Missouri.

Great for large family

Our family of 24 stayed here to celebrate our mom’s birthday. It was just perfect. Everyone had their own bed. The house and Barndo had everything we needed. The pickleball court is a great addition!! Owner is great to work with.

This was our Christmas getaway with our family. We had about 25 of us. We loved loved having the spaciness! We had kitchen space to make our meals.. each family makes a meal for the rest. Outside had plenty of space for the littles to run. Communication was excellent! never had an owner be so easy to communicate with! It had everything we needed!! Thank you!

Took a group of about 30 college students and our leadership team here for a three-day, beginning-of-the-year orientation and retreat. We had a wonderful time, and our host was very timely with responses, helpful with all questions, and even came by to help try to fix something for us and lend us a hose. The space was perfect for our team; plenty of room for everyone to sleep, cook, run our training sessions, and spend lots of time outside together both day and night. We’d definitely recommend this space for families or other large groups!

An extended family celebration

Our far flung family spent a wonderful early Christmas together for the first time in a very long time. And for the first time ever we all had a bed for our heads after a day full of family hugs, laughs and games. Every single thing about this property was perfect for our very large group. Multiple kitchens, gathering spaces, outdoor area, proximity to airport and more. Cannot imagine a better place for a large family gathering. The host was absolutely lovely and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Our extended family, including 30 people ranging in age from 6 months to 85 years, met here for The July 4 Holiday. We had the best time! This place was absolutely perfect for us. Everyone had the space they needed for comfort and privacy, plus we had room to enjoy each other’s company.We used every space, inside and outside. Everything was well-maintained, clean, and very well-stocked. The coffee bars were amazing!We would highly recommend the house and barndominium combination for any gathering of family or friends!

We lived and raised our kids on our property for about 7 years. Some of the main features we loved about it was it's outdoor space it provided on acreage to do activities outside and the privacy we had with a gated entrance. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee from our screened-in front porch was our favorite. It brings us joy now to see others enjoy the things we enjoyed for years.
