The patio door did not lock well and one side did not open. There was a large pile of dead ants behind the night stand in the master bedroom, and a q-tip and flosser behind one of the other night stands. The cleanliness could have been much better. The location is amazing.

Good Enough

Good morning, As mentioned in my earlier email, the unit has several positive features. The location and layout are excellent, all the bedrooms are conveniently situated on the same floor, and the views of the pool and lake are incredible. However, the unit itself is quite dated and would benefit from some maintenance and updating. We encountered several issues during our stay: The sliding doors were difficult to open and could not be locked securely from inside, which is a safety concern. The drains in both showers were slow, causing water to accumulate while showering. The refrigerator had some cosmetic dents. The kitchen faucet did not function properly. I appreciate that the unit is approximately 20 years old, but addressing these relatively minor issues would make the overall experience much more comfortable. While they may not be as noticeable during a short visit, they become increasingly frustrating over a stay of several weeks. The sliding-door locks should be prioritized because of the safety implications. Overall, we enjoyed the property and look forward to booking again. However, we would choose a different unit for our next stay.

Great Unit for Family

This unit is ground floor and very close to entrance and pool. This was great for our 2.5 yr old grandson and for loading in and out. The pool was warm and had a 1 foot ledge on one side which was wonderful for our grandson who didn't want to get out. Beach was super close. Rocky but we all enjoyed swimming anyways. Unit clean except under beds/couch (looking for missing earring) and the door mats hadn't been shaken or vacuumed in some time. The patio was in need of a good clean.

No heat, false advertising, dismissive management - avoid.We booked this rental for a February ski weekend and encountered serious issues that management handled poorly.No heating. We arrived to a 16C unit and it stayed that way for nearly our entire 3-night stay. We wore winter coats indoors and used the stove to stay warm. The handyman confirmed this was a known issue with the unit—yet they rented it anyway.False advertising. We specifically wanted a hot tub and it's listed as an amenity. Upon arrival, it was locked. Management claimed it was marked "seasonal," but I sent multiple screenshots of the live VRBO listing showing no such disclosure. They ignored this evidence repeatedly.Renting a unit with known heating problems in winter is unethical. This company cannot be trusted.
