Great location and well equipped but not clean.
This is a lovely villa with a good location and well equipped, everything you could possibly need including beach towels, strollers and car booster seat. This villa needs some maintenance it certainly isn’t immaculate as the listing states. I had to request check in information. I had to contact the owner and ask for the pool area to be cleaned as there was bird droppings, black dirt, it was cleaned the next day, it was better but not to a good standard. The villa was dusty in harder to reach areas, a drink was spilled in the bedroom and not cleaned up. I complained about the cleanliness and was told a deep clean was done every few months but I don’t think it has been done for a very long time. Over the course of the two weeks, I noticed more and more issues, initially I just thought the villa smelt funny due to a dirty mop, I then realised villa had a damp smell and black mold in the master bathroom. All the towels smelt of mold but after several hot washes they smelt clean. The washing machine had mold in the seal. We had to mess around in the master bedroom to get lights working, bulbs were blown. There’s a lot of broken blinds. The owner was quick to reply and offered apologies but no one came to look at the mold. The owner stated this hasn’t been reported before but there’s a very similar review on a different site ,so the owner has been made aware previously.I requested a partial refund but this request was ignored.
