Great Quito Apartment
This is a beautiful apartment, a real home away from home. On an eleventh floor and with windows on two sides, it commands great views over the city, and even the summit of Cotopaxi on a clear day. The balcony is very small, but so filled with plants that it has the feel of a tiny garden.
The apartment itself is both charming and practical. The furniture is comfortable, there are paintings everywhere, and the bookshelves contribute to a lived-in feel. The kitchen is modern and well designed, with a big refrigerator and an induction cooktop, as well as a sink with a view and hot water all the time. The showers are also good and hot, and there’s hot water at the handbasins too. The washer-dryer is large and modern.
We had to leave early because of the Covid-19 crisis, and the owner was simply great in helping us with practicalities such as shopping and printing the documents we needed. Things would have been so much worse without her support, and we’re enormously grateful to her.
We would go back in an instant!
