Welcome to Place Near The River, in Mission BC.
This suite is ideal for one or two people for a leisure stay. Can accommodate three. Please note suite is not child proof therefore not suitable for a younger child. One full double bed and 1 queen sofa bed that has a comfy 4 inch memory foam mattress. Perfect suite for solo or two people or a couple with an older child. With amenities like a two in one washer dryer, AC, WiFi, TV with a cable box, heated bathroom floor your stay will be comfortable and convenient. The free off street parking spot is located right next to the suite.
Private entry to your place which includes a full bathroom with a shower tub, heated floor, all basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner,bubble bath and epsom salts are provided for your relaxation needs. Wardrobe stores two beautiful duvets, a double and a queen. There are extra towels and pillows, a backpack with beach/pool towels, room for shirts and long dresses and plenty of hangers provided. Iron and ironing board included. All linens and bedding are quality cotton. This is a quiet and safe location close to beautiful Heritage park with many hiking trails and a nearby popular neighborhood pub with a reputation for ambience and good food. The West Coast Express (WCE) train leaves for Vancouver in the mornings and returns end of the day, Monday to Friday. The park and ride for the train is less than a 10 min. drive. WCE is a stress free commute for day trips to Vancouver, final stop is right at the sea bus terminal which can be taken across the water to the north shore. Mission has many lakes nearby, Shopping malls are all about 10 mins. away and Harrison Hot Springs is simply a one hour scenic country drive. Enjoy your stay in Mission.

The place was just like in the photos – very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our trip. You can tell the host really cares, everything was well thought out and made our stay super comfortable. She was always quick to reply and really helpful, even going out of her way to make sure we had a good time. We felt at home right away and would definitely stay here again.

Overall the stay was exactly what we assumed it would be based on listing. It was quiet. We knew with the listing the bed was in an awkward spot, but it was comfortable.

Nice and clean, cozy space. Very modern and comfortable. Only suggestion would be a small breakfast table to make having a meal a bit more comfy...not sure the best way to do this since it is a small space, and certainly no reason to rate less than 5 stars. Host is easy to contact and friendly. We would stay here again without hesitation, if/when we return to the Vancouver area another time.

Everything was great. Clean bed and bathroom. Well stocked with spare blankets, bath towels, pillows, etc. Kitchen area was clean. Space was just the right size. Host was very accommodating and pleasant to speak with:) thank you Vicky for the great stay while we attended an event in Mission away from home on Vancouver Island. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location

Vicky is a really fantastic host. Her communications were clear & helpful, and she answers questions immediately!The unit itself is cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, the bed comfortable. There's a portable "closet" that contains everything you might need, including extra pillows & blankets. The kitchenette is well stocked, there's in suite laundry if needed, and the pull out couch was remarkably comfortable as well.All in all, highly recommended. I especially appreciate a host who is quick to answer questions, and is gracious with their time. 10/10 would stay again.

Very friendly and helping host

The host was very gracious and allowed me in the property early because I had a very tiring trip. She was very thoughtful. The unit is compact but has all the necessary amenities. Loved the coffee maker. Very clean and comfortable

Welcome to Place Near The River. I will take your lead and if privacy is what you prefer then you will have a serene undisturbed stay. Should you want some guidance and direction for your time here I am available.
I am retired now but worked as a provincial social worker, had a private practice and worked professionally in theatre, film and television. I love to travel and hope to continue discovering new places and different cultures. My great grandparents arrived to Canada in the late 1800’s. I speak English and Punjabi and learning Spanish.
In my retirement I enjoy hosting guests and ensuring your stay at Place Near The River is what I would want during my travels.
A clean, cozy well equipped home away from home.
I love living in Mission BC. I enjoy the small town atmosphere and the easy access for trips to the city, Vancouver BC.

Place Near The River is located on Hatzic bench. Hatzic is the name of this neighborhood which is surrounded by mountains with hiking and biking trails and a neighbourhood pub known for excellent food and ambiance. The property is quiet yet you are less than ten minute drive to the shopping mall and restaurants.
Heritage park is a beautiful spot offering history, viewpoint and a restaurant. Easily accessible non strenuous walk to the park or if you wish a more strenuous hike you have the option of the many trails up the mountain. Hatzic is a beautiful neighborhood in Mission BC.

Parking is off street and very close to your suite making it easy to unload and settle in.
This is a warm, cozy self contained suite. High standard for cleanliness all bedding and linens are quality cotton. To ensure a good sleep warm duvets and an assortment of lighter quilts and blankets for your personal preferences are provided. Your own washer dryer for small daily wear and for stays one week or longer laundry service for the bedding, towels and kitchen linens is provided.
