At Diamond Resorts, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members is of utmost concern. We remain diligent in our commitment to provide a safe, hospitable environment for all who visit our properties. Please read below for the latest developments relating to Diamond and our response to COVID-19.
Located on the quieter, south end of Virginia Beach, Turtle Cay Resort features studio rooms and spacious one- and two-bedroom suites. Spend a day hiking False Cape, First Landing and Cape Henry Memorial State Parks, biking along the boardwalk, touring Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge or relaxing beachside. Turtle Cay Resort provides a quiet retreat from the tourist district, with all amenities needed for an unforgettable vacation, including two outdoor pools, two hot tubs and a private gazebo. Accommodations include a partial or full kitchen and full bathroom.
Approximately 775 square feet, this 1 Bedroom features 1 King Bed in the master bedroom, 1 Sleeper Sofa within the living area including a full kitchen, dining area and 1 bathroom. Maximum of 4 occupants.
Fees Due Upon Check-in:
A credit card for a $200 security deposit and a daily $14.95 plus tax resort fee will also be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit).
Notice:
All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. If you have a floor, unit or building number that you would like to stay in, please do not hesitate to ask. The full-time on-site reservation check-in staff is happy to do their best to accommodate your request. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standard is our top priority.
The person checking in must be 21 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $200 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking and a daily $14.95 plus tax resort fee will also be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit). Resort Fee* includes activities, beach access, board game access, DVD player access, fitness center access (located at Beach Quarters Resort), in-room laundry access, local/toll-free calls, pool access, self-parking (one vehicle per reservation), tennis court access (located at Beach Quarters Resort), Wi-Fi and business center access. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.
The check- in time is 4 p.m. ET at the main building on-site, and check out time is 10 a.m. ET. Please contact the resort prior to arrival if you anticipate your arrival time would be later than midnight (resort local time). Arrivals after midnight may be subject to cancellation. Guests will be required to provide vehicle information (including license plate information) at check in. Please have this information ready so the Front Desk agent may efficiently assist you. The nearest airport to Turtle Cay Resort is Norfolk International Airport which is 19.7 miles by car respectively.
Please note by purchasing this listing you agree that there may be a chance for an 'Upgrade' to your unit for a larger unit that will fit the same amount of people. If this is the case, we will upgrade your room without question, free of charge. Therefore, depending on the length of your stay and unavailability of rooms, you may be upgraded to a larger suite during your stay with us.
Hence, if you have any concerns, our office hours are always open 24 hours respond to your requests.
*** Parking Policy ***
FREE self-parking (one vehicle per reservation). Additional parking (self-park) based on availability. $15 per vehicle per night for hotel guests, marketing and exchange. $7 per vehicle per night for owners, club, DEX and Sampler.
*** Pet Policy ***
Pets are not permitted. This is strictly enforced, with the exception of working Service Animals as defined by the ADA. Certified Support and Therapy Animals are not allowed.
*** Smoking Policy ***
All guest suites are non-smoking. Smoking products of any kind, including, but not limited to, any electronic smoking devices, are not permitted. Please understand that you will be charged a cleaning fine of $500 as a result of any damage caused by smoking inside guest suites.
*** Housekeeping Policy ***
Daily housekeeping is not included and may be added for an additional fee.
*** Other Notes ***
This resort offers Braille signage (i.e. elevators, room numbers), handicap parking, first floor access ramps, and a portable pool lift.

Some units include lever h angles on all doors, visual doorbells, visual fire alarm, visual phone alert, counter-height microwave, front control stove or range, roll-under bathroom. sink, roll-under kitchen sink, roll-in shower, handheld shower head, grab bars in shower, grab bars in tub, grab bars around toilet, front door wide-angle wheelchair height peephole, and Braille signage for room numbers.
Some suites include visual doorbells and visual fire alarm.
