Nice and cozy

"I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful rental! The house is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The neighborhood is peaceful and conveniently located near shops and restaurants. The host was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home!"

Maybe my expectations were too high.

Photos looked great. The reality was a bit different. It could have used a touch up prior to our visit. A hot tub was listed but was absent. The A/C was noisy at the air return on the 2nd floor where 3 bedrooms are. Someone came on the 3rd day of our stay to finally check on it. The air filter was so clogged that it blew out of place to allow air flow. The filter wasn’t replaced during our 5 day stay. The thermostat was in a lock box and set at 68, way too cold for us even during the day. We like to cook. We needed to purchase plates, bowls, (unless you are comfortable using the fine china on display) kitchen towels, hot pad holders and knives. The fridge had a constantly flashing error light we could not turn off or fix. The location was good. The space in the house was ample.

Nightmare

Arrived at property had problems entering as codes where improper property was misrepresented as it was supposed to have a hot tub / spa a river view / golf course view sleep 12 with 1 king 3 queen s and 4 twins but twins are almost impossible to use ,queens are dbls / fulls pictures taken with extra wide fisheye lens making it appear larger and more spacious has a retention pond and highway view no hot tub rules that state do not put toilet paper in toilet put only in supplied trash can of which there are 3 total in the house property is not all bad just highly over stated and misrepresented, then smoke detectors go off from light steam from bathroom the power was shutoff due to fire risk from melting meter box from bad connections Power company stated the house would have burned to the ground if they had not shut off so after 9 hrs in the property we where left scrambling as a group of 6 was 8 but 2 chose not to stay at all due to misrepresentation so our group was able to book a hotel for the additional 2 nights we where in town for a billiards tournament and where limited on time to rebook a different property as we only had short breaks that we where unable to enjoy due to the inconvenience And now because of a miscommunication with support staff that barely spoke English we will only be receiving less then half our original booking and no assistance with our rebooking
