we enjoyed our stay. the place is clean and enough room for 4 people.most of the must see tourist spots are a few min walk from the place we are staying.Lots of local restaurants around the the same street where we stayed.Victoria is a wonderful host and quick to reply.i highly recommend this place.

Great location close to Madison Square Garden and a quick train ride to anywhere you could possibly want to go in New York City. Apartment had everything we needed and was spacious by NYC standards. Would definitely stay there again

Broadway weekend

Great location for shows, Times Square, Central Park etc. Best for walking. It’s on restaurant row, but it’s a nice scene and not pretentious. Mountain Home restaurant is not too be missed, the food is unique and excellent. We will be back.

Times Square - Broadway Gem

Quaint NYC Apartment located a quick walk from Broadway, Times Square with tons of food options.Apartment looks like photos, host provides excellent communication.Entrance is somewhat hidden, but as other reviews mentioned, is located just outside the Mountain House Restaurant (after finding out t the first time, the restaurant is a great landmark and Uber driver pick up/drop off location.Overall, very pleased and would definitely stay again

Lovely flat - perfect base

Great space - perfect for two couples or a small family. Very spacious and comfortable. No issues with noise and proximity to a myriad of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping is fantastic. We had a few hiccups - power was out upon arrival - and it was addressed and resolved quickly. Note that while the stovetop works, the oven does not so if you’re cooking, plan accordingly. Would absolutely stay again.

Great Girls Weekend

This apartment was in a great location on Restaurant Row. It was very spacious and accomodating for 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We loved the proximity to Time Square. We will definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

Amazing spot in middle of a variety of restaurants and nearby convenient stores. The place was giving a modern look, yet aumbiance was very cozy. Natural sunlight hits through the bedroom to the living room. Everything needed was provided at this place to ensure a very comfortable stay, which is what I got...including customer care. Host was very attentive and quick with the responses when I messaged her. She reached out to make sure everything was okay. Overall great experience, from beginning to end.

Christmas Get Away by Times Square

We had an amazing time in New York. The apartment was the perfect location. Victoria sent us the door codes and check in information which made it extremely easy to check in. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and just like the description. Looking forward to staying there again!

There were NO LESS than 25 problems at this property. Small problems like- no lightbulbs, bad switch's, squeaky doors, no tea kettle, no potato peeler, horrible mattress, spotty internet.. then there were BIG problems... The king size bed was on a queen size bed frame and the owner didn't believe me! We slept on a bed you literally fell off of if you got close to the edge. The trash only got picked up every 10-12 days... FILTHY, unsanitary! The owner did correct the issues but why did they happen to begin with?? Here's the real issue.... the owner NEVER goes there... she relys on her TEAM... and trust me the TEAM doesn't care. Many Many problems and all could have been avoided. VERY VERY CARELESS. I should have left after the first 5 days, but I messed up and stayed thinking it would get better. It never did. A wonderful property that is very poorly managed... and may I just throw in.. HORRIBLE "art."

Perfect location for a week in NYC!

This was the absolute best location for our family of four with two teenage girls! It was safe, clean, the neighborhood full of restaurants and coffee shops, close to the subway stations, and within walking distance from so many places we visited. We wanted somewhat of a locals experience instead of a hotel stay and that’s exactly what we got!The host was quick to answer any questions and checked on us throughout the week. The apartment was well stocked and exactly as listed. The street-side bedroom has some road noise until around midnight, but it’s Hell’s Kitchen and to be expected. Nothing was too loud, it was not even noticeable with the A/C unit on, and the neighborhood is quiet once the restaurants close.We will be back here the next time we visit NYC!

can you say more about the property before the guest arrives? too many mysteries until the last minute; we had to ask for every detail one by one. For those who come from far away it is not easy. You need more info.Anyway everything worked and everything went well. Well furnished and kitchen working. Too bad there is no hair dryer! You can't dry your hair in the microwave!!! :-)

Nice apartment in happening location

Prime location with plenty of nightlife, access to the subway, and reasonable amenities!The apartment itself has a master bedroom that faces the street so it was subject to lots of street noise. The other bedroom faced the courtyard and was much quieter. Overall, the apartment was well appointed.The check-in process was overly involved and a bit confusing. We understand the security concern, and we felt entirely safe. But getting into the apartment initially was quite cumbersome.Overall, Victoria was always responsive and willing to help. We had a great time in NYC staying in her property!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY

Communication with host had been frustrating leading up to our stay. She repeatedly asked the same questions which I promptly answered each time. After providing all of the information that was requested, it took her a long time to finally accept our reservation but she did. Then, 2 and 1/2 hours before check-in, the host called to tell us that there was a plumbing issue with the apartment and we could not stay there. She offered to try and find us another apartment and to give her 10 minutes. Never heard from her. Called back. Was told repeatedly over the next 2 hours that she just needed 10 minutes to find us another place. I was also in contact with VRBO who said they couldn't do anything to help until our check-in time.

GREAT LOCATION & GREAT SPACE!!

Amazing location… just a few blocks from Times Square. SO much open space! Really big 2 bed, 2 bath apt. for NYC!! The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms/showers were SO nice! This apt. even has its own, private patio which is SO cool!

It was hard to find the front door after being dropped off by the Uber. The Uber driver actually got out of the car and helped me find the place. The gate to the staircase for the building is next to the entrance to the Chinese restaurant, to the left “Mountain House.” Just look for the white, “Mountain House” sign to park ur car for loading/unloading.Some of the furniture was broken, but still mostly in tact. Some of the lights/lamps worked, but most of them worked. Coffee wise, all that was left was a little pumpkin spice coffee and no creamer or sweetener. The only towels were some bath towels.I purchased (and left) some hand towels, hand rags, regular coffee, plain creamer, a bunch of Splenda and a couple of umbrellas from Target. I also replaced some of the light bulbs that were out that I could reach without a ladder.The place was still great! YOU must stay HERE!!

A wonderful mini vacation with special people

I booked this apartment for a mini vacation with family/friends. Was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was! Rooms were bigger than they look in the pictures, were clean and well decorated. Lots of mirrors! Netflix was already active - we just switched on the TV and could watch movies. There was a small terrace to be accessed. In summer folks can enjoy it. The host is very responsive, helpful and accommodative! I gave the check-in process only 3-star because it was very difficult to find the building itself and figure out the entrance to the building. The house number is written so high on the awning that it is not visible from the car when we drove by in front of it. Stairs to the building are hidden with mat-like walls by the restaurant downstairs. We drove by it multiple times but couldn't see it. The instructions said the building is next to Swing 46 which is wrong. The stairs near Swing 46 don't lead to this building. Also, the instructions were not clear about the padlock/access to the building. It might be obvious/intuitive to city dwellers but for someone from the suburbs it was very confusing. You have to open a lock box to get the keys - this wasn't clear in the instructions. Took more than an hour for us to figure out how to get through all three different locks. Once we figured out the entrance it was a breeze! We enjoyed our stay very much. Overall, a great place for vacationing in New York City! I will highly recommend it and will book it again myself!

Great location for a broadway trip

Very convenient location to broadway with many restaurants nearby. Apartment was great for my mom and I as we went to shows and explored the area. Would definitely stay again!
