Waikiki at its best

The property was as described. It had lots of linen, beach towels, snorkelling gear, kitchen utensils and a beautiful bath. It is well maintained and a very easy 5 min walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

We loved the location ... 2 blocks from the beach ... Vrbo condo was great !!! We stayed 2 weeks so having a little home away from home worked great !!!! Great bargain and VERY well equipped unit

Gary must not be new to this as I have rented several VRBO units before but this unit is the most equipped condo I have rented. Nice central location, the view from the deck is not so great but I didn't rent it for the view. Gary's right - I am shopping for a Toto seat now for home!! I would definitely rent again.

Perfect place for two girls on a vacation

The owner of this unit could not have been any nicer or more attentive. I had an email from him within an hour of our checking in, making sure we had no problems getting there. Again, he emailed the evening before we left, just to check in with us one more time. The unit was very clean and served us well. It was close to everything, so we walked everywhere. We found a variety of local restaurants nearby and even had dinner one night at a food truck that was parked across the street! Were we to return, I would book this unit again!

Great experience overall!

The condo was very clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. Keep in mind that parking is extra, but it was worth it to us to have the piece of mind. I would recommend this condo to others. It is a little outdated, but the updated dual shower and stone hallway were nice.

Waikiki Beach Retreat

We were very pleased with our rental. It was only a couple of minutes to the beach straight out from our driveway. We found a grocery store just a few short blocks away. We caught the bus a block from the condo, and took it to Pearl Harbor. The round trip was only $2.00. Hop on, hop-off buses run everywhere and is a great way to see Oahu without the fuss of a car. The only suggestion I have for the condo owners, is they need 2 new beach chairs. Very pleased with the security of the building and the cleanliness. Would highly recommend this unit again. oh yes, be sure and visit one of the many ABC stores. They have everything at a good price. Also in the lobby of the building, are several books you can borrow if you run out of things to read. I took a book, and left a book.

Great Location / But Needs Upgrade

The apartment layout, location, parking, etc. is VERY good. The only reason I did not Five Star this rental is the age of the furnishings (TV, futon, mattress, carpet in bedroom). I respectfully recommend these upgrades. If you have allergies, I do not recommend this location.

Comfortable and short walk to beach.

Here for HomeAway Conference, we found this unit to be affordable and comfortable. It’s a short walk to beach and many great restaurants. Only comment would be that some coffee for guests would be nice but many stores and coffee stops are steps away. Host was accommodating on our request for late checkout and building security was helpful.

Comfortable and Convenient

I have found my home-away-from-home! I'm so happy to have found Gary and Merry who have been quite conscientious and helpful regarding our stay. The location was quite convenient with a few short blocks to the beach, dining options and world class shopping. Furnished with beach gear such as chairs, mats and towels making our daily trips to the beach all the more pleasant. Being that the property is located on Kuhio versus Kalakaua, traffic noise was minimal. Spacious interior which didn't leave our party of three feeling claustrophobic. Lovely views with tranquil island breezes. The pool was clean and not overly crowded during peak times. Laundry facility on site was reasonably priced and available 24 hours which is quite helpful. The option to park on property was a bonus. Courteous staff who greeted us upon every departure and arrival. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Apartment in the best location

Aloha, We are a adult family of four on our third holiday to Ohau and our second stay in one of Gary's apartments. Already planning our return next year, and we know where we will be staying. Great apartments in the best location. Set back from the road so minimal road noise. Within 5 minutes walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Great parking available for our rental car. Beautiful, peaceful, safe, and accommodating

I am truly overjoyed to have found this beautiful, safe, and peaceful haven from Merry and Gary! Absolutely everything about it is even better than the descriptions and pictures. The "reflexology" entry way is delightful and the "groovy" lights in the furo tub/shower area are relaxing. These special features make this haven fun and relaxing! Location is perfect for all Waikiki activities and convenient to bus stops when you want to venture outside the area. Being a single woman traveling in the "city" I felt very safe coming home each night as there was ample building security and never any loitering outside the building. With the classy restaurant on the bottom floor, there were always valets around. The best part about staying at this place is the warm hospitality that Merry adds to the experience. She is patient, kind, and helpful...an absolute angel! Whenever I called with a question about anything (mostly about activities as the place itself was perfect!) she always provided a helpful and knowledgeable answer. When I visit Waikiki again, I only want stay in Merry's place! Feeling blessed to have been able to stay in this wonderful haven. Mahalo nui loa!

Excellent Luxury at a great price and location

I come to Hawaii two to three times a year and I always stay at the Waikiki Park Heights. Merry and Gary are always available to answer questions or help you settle in. There is excellent security and everyone who works there are very friendly. My condo unit was very clean and furnished with all necessities for your stay. My room has a flat screen and cable TV and free wi-fi. I personally found Merry very helpful from registration to check in to check out. She even finds time out of her busy day to call and say hello and ask if everything is ok. Every time I return to Hawaii, I always call Merry and request a reservation. Great people great condo unit and great safe building will make your stay in Hawaii a treasured memory.

Close to everything and very secure

My husband and I stayed almost 4 weeks in condo 2007.It was very comfortable, lots of fluffy towels, beds comfortable and nice linen. The pool and spa deck was great, clean and comfortable, we even used the barbeques a few times. The bathroom was small but lots of hot water and a good shower. The kitchenette was tiny but enough to make tea and toast in the mornings, a full fridge, and the lanai really large, great place to sit and sip, while watching the golfers just over the canal. Used the fan a lot instead of a/c. In all very comfortable for 2 persons.

Wonderful stay at Waikiki Park Heights

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this condo unit for one week in May and it offered everything that we were looking for -close to the beach and the zoo, a kitchen, separate bedroom, swimming pool, and very close to the city bus lines and the zoo. We found Merry to be very responsive to any questions and she was helpful in her suggestions re: activities. Everything went smoothly from her recommendations of a taxi company to accessing the keys to the unit, and arranging a parking space for the days that we rented a car. We had a great vacation and are already planning a return trip!

Specifically with the people, the sea and the weather. I have worked in the hotel industry for years in different capacities. We did a few years of research to find a condominium that had a great location close to the beach. as a former hotel worker it was important that I get a quite building with central air conditioning. We picked the right place! The building management is excellent, the security guards are friendly and helpful, and they do a great job. The condo is a secured building, has a great swimming pool, laundry facility, parking, and is 3 short blocks from the beach. We have received above average compliments from our guests about our quality condos, great location and staff
