Beautiful cabin in the Smokey Mountains

We loved our stay over the weekend at this property! It was on me that I didn’t read the fine print and realize how a the cabin was from restaurants/grocery stores. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable for a reading weekend away for the tired moms who needed a getaway.

The cabin itself was nice and comfortable, but the experience with the management company was disappointing. Check-in was confusing—we weren’t initially told we had to sign additional documents, and even after doing so, we never received the information needed to access the property. We had to call for the gate code, and another group arriving behind us was also confused about getting through the gate.Cleanliness was below expectations. Several areas were dusty and sticky, the cookware had residue that we had to wash before using, and the plates all had a film on them, so we ended up using disposable dishes.Basic supplies were also lacking. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for four adults over three days, despite being told there should be more. There were no extra trash bags after the first one filled up, and the toiletries were watered down.What was most frustrating was the long list of checkout instructions and rules posted throughout the cabin, while the property itself wasn’t cleaned or stocked to the same standard. We always leave rentals clean, but this felt less like staying in a welcoming vacation home and more like following a contract with a property management company. This is our second experience with this type of rental management, and unfortunately it will probably be our last.

We're glad to hear you found the cabin itself nice and comfortable, but we're sorry that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We'd like to clarify that all guests receive multiple emails and text messages prior to arrival explaining that the rental agreement must be completed before check-in instructions, including the gate and door codes, are released. We understand this process can feel like an extra step, but it is required for all reservations to help protect both our guests and the property owners. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve, and we'll be sharing your comments with our housekeeping team to ensure our standards are consistent

Lovely cabin that was perfect for me and my 3 girls for a weekend trip. I particularly enjoyed the screened in porch. Check in was very easy and my communication with the host was promptly responded to!
