Gite ”La Vigne" is charming renovated farmhouse set in the green countryside of Dordogne. It accommodate 6 persons spaciously. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom. A characteristic house full of comfort, space and style. The house, Gite La Vigne , is aprrox 115m2. On the ground floor a big livingroom with comfortable seats and sofa cozy set up around the woodburner. A seperate diningroom and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen provides fridge, cookingstove, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster. A wooden staircase brings you up to the second floor where there are three good size bedrooms and a bathroom.
There is a terrace in front and at the back of the house for private dining and relaxing. Both furnitures with garden dining table and chairs. The setting of the house is in a lushy green garden. The swimmingpool is near the house and free to use. There are sunloungers around it.
In the middle of the green Dordogne surrounded by forests, lakes, rivers, fields, sunflowers and vineyards, Pure nature and peace all around.
The house has a rural country side position in the middle of the green hillside of Dordogne. Roses and sunflowers are blooming along side the paths. Several fruit trees on the yard provide seasonal fruits for you to pick up.
Enjoy dining outside on the terrace or grass, light up the barbecue and enjoy the most colourfull sunset while zipping from a glass of good french wine.
The sound and songs of many birds and owls at night in the background creat happy unforgettable holiday-moments and memories.

We are Remco & Gerralda. We 'd like to welcome you to our countryside houses in France, Dordogne, where we live during the summermonths. You are welcome to stay in one of our typical countryside houses, called gites in France on our domain in St. Saud Lacoussiere, Vieille Abbaye.This is part of the natural park Perigord- Limousine. Located among the rolling hills of Dordogne, Perigord Vert, green forests, fields and meadows, sunflower fields and vineyards, small lakes and rivers. Freedom and space, comfort and style.

Middle age villages all around to visit, ancient houses and churches, castles and caves.
For example Brantome, the Venice of the Dordogne, is worth a visit.
Or Sarlat, famous markettown with an very attractive historic city centre.
Bergerac is the city famous for its wine culture and over 12 wine appelations.
Go back in time when visiting one of the perhistoric caves nearby, Villars, Rouffignac, La Roque St Christophe etc.
The nature in Dordogne invites to enjoy in many ways; hiking, biking, canoeing, swiming, fishing, hunting, golfing, horseback riding etc.
Local markets, antique brocantes , wine tastings bring you into the local culture and life.
This part of Dordogne is known for the Limousine-cattle, Foie Gras, Truffles, Chestnuts, Perigordine cheeses and duck breast. It is all to be found in the shops or let it be prepared for you in the many restaurants around us. Choose one of the tasty wines with it and your culinary experience is well done !
