Great view, plenty of space!

Finding it was a little off from gps but we figured it out. Check in was great. Had a little confusion over bedding but it worked out in the end and we had a nice stay!!

Great place to call home

We really enjoyed our visit, the house was roomy and comfortable! The location was excellent and the views were beautiful! The water was hot and the beds comfy, who needs anything else?

A great base camp for hiking and outdoor recreation. Make use of the grill and kitchen as dining options in Monticello are limited

My husband, our 14-year old labradoodle, and I spent a week in this cabin. It was great. The cabin is very comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. It does take an hour to get to Moab but the drive is beautiful. We highly recommend this cabin.

Wonderful Cabin in Monticello

The location is excellent. We loved watching the sun rise and sunsets. The deer were on the golf course every morning and evening, The place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The gas fireplace, in the living room, was fantastic. The best part was how close it was to all the places we wanted to explore. Excellent hiking in Hovenweep, Natural Bridges, Arches, and Canyonlands.

Home away from home!

This was the perfect place for our family of four. A roomy home with bedrooms on 2 levels. Very quiet and private. If you are planning to visit South Canyon lands NP, Mesa Verde NP, Bears Ears,Indian Creek, or want to Golf you need to stay here.

Amazing location

Really enjoyable stay in Monticello. The views from the property were amazing. It was well equipped, and I would not hesitate in recommending it. Monticello is relatively quiet with not a great choice for places to eat, but enjoyed the Peace Tree Juice Cafe.

Wonderful place!

Great location. Felt secluded being on the edge of town. The views are amazing, overlooking the golf course with the Blue mountains in the background. The place was very homey. Very clean. Will definitely stay again!

Abajo and About

Fort Abajo is comfy and cozy with sweet family vibes. It is convenient to a wide range of attractions, including National Forests, Monuments, & Parks. In addition, there are Native American historical and cultural sites to visit.

Convenient location for southern Utah exploring

This is a private property with a great view of the Abajo mountains. It is a great base camp for exploring ruins, petroglyphs, national and state parks in the area. Ft. Abajo is a very comfortable home to come back to each night and they have an informative guide book to help you plan your days if needed. The town of Monticello is quieter than Moab, it had everything we needed, and it was nice to get out of the crowds.

Awesome view

The location is stunningly beautiful. Glad it was dry, it could have been muddy. Nice cabin, lovely upstairs bed linens. A few replacements (bathroom linens and porch chair) are necessary but overall a nice stay.

We stayed at Ft Abajo when driving from Albuquerque to northern Utah. The house has a fabulous location and view of a golf course and mountains. We sat out at night and observed the MANY stars in the sky. The house was spacious and clean. The decor and kitchen were a bit dated and the shower was small. For us, none of that was a big deal. I would recommend!

Amazing View

The property was awesome. Unique location that was perfect. We enjoyed the sunsets, Mule deer and Wild Turkeys. Guest information notebook was so helpful. Best we’d ever seen. Highest recommendation from us.

Perfect for families!

This was one of the best getaways we’ve had. We spent two weeks in SE Utah and used this cabin as our base to sightsee and do day hikes. The cabin has a wonderful mountain view right over the golf course. We watched the deer every day. It has everything we needed. This was a perfect location to visit the 4+ national park within driving distance. Highly recommend this property!
