Great location, responsive host

We have stayed at Vantage Point many times. It is a great location and the units have always been clean and well maintained. This unit was great. Had a minor issue with the balcony door, and the owner responded immediately and it was fixed. Would happily stay here again!

Great Location

If you want to be close to Lions Head gondola this is a great location. Just a short walk. Great property, clean, looks newly renovated and the property owner was extremely responsive.

Great Condo/Great Location

Very clean, modern, and comfortable condo. Great views of the mountain with convenient covered parking, ski locker, and an elevator. 5 minute walk to the Lionshead lifts.

All about location!

Amazing walk to lift property! Easy parking and elevator access from the garage. Walk to all the restaurants. Nice hot tubs on the property. I'll be back!!!

Good location, nice apartment

Pros: It is very closed to the ski gondolas, it has nice views, it has covered parking, it has a pleasant/useful layout. Kitchen has all materials necessary for cooking. Cons: The beds are so so hard. We enjoyed our stay and liked the location!

Great condo and location

The condo was in a great location just steps from the shops and restaurants in Lionshead Village and an easy walk to Vail Village. The condo layout was great also with 2 full baths and a fully stocked kitchen. The view of the mountain from the balcony was beautiful. Only thing that would have made it better was an a/c unit.

Alfonso was great. Parking was a little tight since they were doing maintenance on the garage.

The heated pool & hot tubs being open in to late September was GREAT with kids. The unit has a fantastic location - so close to so much and right off the shuttle line. The balcony has the best view in Vail. The fall colors were unmatched and it gave us a great space to hang out while our baby napped.A couple small pieces of feedback to the owner... Unit itself could use a little love The front load clothes washer wreaked of mildew so bad that you didn't want to leave the door open (which is the problem - it really needs to dry out between uses). It would stink up the whole condo if you left it open. Needless to say we didn't do laundry despite wanting to. The dishwasher doesn't do a great job and many of the utensils and plates we pulled out of drawers had food from prior renters still caked to them.Still a very strong 4 stars because of reasonable price, ease of parking, and overall location! With a little TLC this could be an iconic condo but even without it we would stay there again.

Excellent location

The location was amazing, condo was well stocked and roomy. My only negative was the mattresses. All beds were very hard and for the cost would have expected a bit more comfort. That said everything else was wonderful with no other complaints.

Great location in Lionshead

Unit is very nice in Lionshead Village with easy access to slopes, restaurants and shops. The complex amenities like hot tub and pool are old and could use an update and do not provide towels; there is no gym like other places we’ve stayed. The highway was very noisy and the bedrooms are very close to the road. Unit does have a washer and dryer for laundry which is a plus because there is no housekeeping or midweek cleaning service and refresh like other places. If you stay for a week you will need to do laundry for clean towels. The unit is very nice and you can’t beat the location.

nice place but highway noise

For the price, this place is a nice pick, as long as you are aware of the highway noise. But to get closer to the interior where it's quieter, you'll just pay more. The unit is clean and comfortable. It was nice for a summer trip, but next time I would perhaps pay a bit more of a premium to be away from 70 and quiet. Pool is near the road too. But very convenient location. This particular unit very clean/comfortable.

The condo was well appointed, clean, and very nice.There are two issues that can be corrected with a little effort, which would push this to a 5-star property.1. PLEASE replace the king size mattress in the “master.” It literally felt like lying on a concrete slab. I slept on the sofa for six nights straight to avoid the mattress. I didn’t pay thousands to sleep on a sofa.2. Ceiling fans should be installed in both bedrooms and the den. Again, I didn’t pay to sleep with a box fan blowing. As a matter of fact, I purchased a box fan and left it at the condo. I know it is warm in Vail for only a couple of months a year, but it would help to move air in the winter as well.Again, we enjoyed our stay, but it could have been better with the two minimal cost upgrades.Thank you for allowing us use of your property.

Rooms w/ a View!!

4 Old college friends of 40 years annual ski trip. This property was a great location in Lionshead. A 5 minute or less walk to the lifts. The unit was very comfortable for 4 single beds, although the sleep sofa a tad less comfortable than the 3 beds in the 2 bedrooms. The place was well furunished and very comfortable. The property manager was responsive to us and easy to deal with. A glitch with the dishwasher was more than made up by a late checkout on our last day. Also the main jacuzzi was down for repairs while there, but the smaller one was working. Noone checked the pool, which we didn't see used during 4 nights there. Would recommend this unit w/ no hesitations or reseravtions whatsoever! It never hurts that we got 15" of fresh snow on our trip, lol.

We have stayed at another property in this same building and this one was a lot nicer! Clean, beautifully updated, and check in process was super easy! They even had a air conditioning window unit, which was a definite plus!
