Escape to this charming wildlife themed cabin where you can see lots of wildlife. This enchanting retreat features a cozy open area log cabin with 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With amenities like central heat and air conditioning, WiFi, and smart TV, you will feel right at home. Kitchenette area features an apartment size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee pot and a nice round table with seating for 4. The bathroom is stocked with all the essentials you need. Covered front porch has a couch and a hanging swing with a huge firepit and free firewood just a few feet away!

It's an open style log cabin with private bathroom featuring a huge shower and well appointed kitchenette. We allow pets but require you to keep them off all furniture! Don't leave them unattended and don't let them wander off. We are just a 20 minute drive to Salt Fork State Park and the city of Cambridge.

A really lovely cabin hidden off the beaten track in a very peaceful wooded area. The cabin is just right sized for 2 prople, and the dog absolutely loved it. Super clean, and well stocked kitchen, microwave for cooking.

Great cabin!

We loved the cabin and the area. We had our two dogs with us and it was a great place for them as well. Great area, secluded yet close to the state park. Cabin was very nice, clean and cute! Loved everything!

This was so relaxing and enjoyable. The woods and surroundings were so peaceful. Truly enjoyed the cabin - very clean and comfortable. The WiFi was strong and TV has all the premium streaming channels. Dogs loved the outdoors! We will definitely return!

Great for a gathering of friends or family

We LOVED our cabin. It was so cute and had everything we needed. Note: There is a microwave and use of an outside grill, but no stove or oven. That suited us fine, but just make note of it. :)This the perfect place to have a family reunion, as the cabins are close and everyone can share the central fire pit. I highly recommend it.

Quiet but social getaway

There are 6 cabins sharing a large firepit, and the owner sets the fire around 7:30pm. Location is very remote but the wifi was outstanding! We were sasquatch hunting and didn't see any, but heard lots of strange animal sounds at night. It was cool to hear the coyotes while sitting around the fire. We didn't bring our dogs but it's very nice that the owner allows that. Cabins are themed and very well done. We'll definitely be back!

Picturesque Nature Stay

The cabin was in the middle of the hills with forest all around. The cabin was clean and had WiFi to keep you connected to the world if you want; however the surrounding area was so beautiful it was nice to disconnect. I wish I had more time to stay as the leaves were changing and it was beautiful all around. My dog was super comfortable in the setting and she also enjoyed watching the deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and squirrels. It is definitely down a gravel road but if you follow the host’s directions, it is very easy to get around. I would absolutely stay here again and hope there is availability next fall.

Cozy Cabin Stay

Our cabin stay was a great refresh from the busyness of hotel stays in town. Duane was a great host and very hospitable. The cabin and area surrounding the cabins was very clean and well maintained. Parking was just a short distance to and from the cabins. All the basic amenities were included. It was so nice having a full size fridge and a small sink to do dishes. The cabin location was very secluded and the night sky views were beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here for nature lovers, to those that need a break from city life.

The tranquility and quiet is perfection. And then on a clear night - the star lit sky is really a must see. We knew when we seen this property for the first time that we had to buy this special piece of heaven!

We don't have alot of outdoor "extras". We are low maintenance and want our guests to just relish in the quiet enjoyment of nature and the surroundings. We have 72 acres with some trails and you can walk quietly through the woods and see wildlife abundantly. A campfire at night, starry skies and a nice place to rest - that's what we have to offer.
