Ive lost count on how many times I have stayed here and reviewed this place. It continues to be a solid time away from home without having to travel too far! Its the perfect place if you just want to "be" near nature and relax, unwind! The place continues to get renovated to create a better experience for their guests!

Everything you’d want for the older generations and also for the young families!! The only thing that was disappointing was the weather!! So windy we could hardly be outside but of course we still had lots of fun !! The property inside and outside is very well taken care of and so pleasant!! Our hosts were wonderful about answering questions and getting back with us very quickly! We would certainly recommend this property to others because you wouldn’t be disappointed!!

This place is amazing. It was our 2nd stay. It is sooo close to Lake Murray, Fireside Restaurant, and the good course… but the best part is the onsite pond. We caught about a dozen bass (one 4 pounder) right off their covered dock. They keep the property mowed very low so no signs of snakes despite the country life. So secluded and peaceful. Perfect.

It was a beautiful place. Enough space for the whole family to spend together and celebrate my aunts birthday. The hosts were caring and did what they could to help us with our stay and we definitely will be coming back again.

Great stay at the house. Husband brought a blow up boat and caught over 30 fish! Kids had RC boats and raced everyday at the pond! Property is beautiful!House is nice, beds are decent, but 1 bathroom is laid out weird. I don't understand the shower concept of not having a full door to keep water out. I didn't use that shower. I used the other bathroom. It wasn't so drafty.Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome property

We enjoyed the property. It was comfortable and beautiful. It was also during a Tornado warning. They notified us about the warning. The property does include a shelter. Thanks for everything. We look forward to returning!

Relaxing stay

Very relaxing! Loved looking for the turkeys, deer, coyotes, and geese every morning. View of the lake was serene. Fished, but didn’t catch anything. Walked the trails. House was very clean and comfortable.

Space to Roam

This property was great to just go and relax. Lots of room to just roam around walk dogs explore fish etc. the only discrepancy I found was that the listing says it sleeps 15 but I really only found sleeping arrangements for 11. It didn’t affect our group as we only had 5 but for future people staying. Be aware of this, you can’t fit 4 more people on the couch in the living room so I don’t know where the other 4 people are supposed to sleep if you bring 15. But it was a very nice place overall.

Amazing, spacious and beautiful!

I had a great time with my family and friends, pets have plenty of room to roam. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable and clean. The house was cozy and welcoming. Definitely worth coming back to visit for all the nice seasons! 10/10 would recommend for people who want to get out and have a great time with nice scenery.

Nice property, comfortable furniture. Quiet. Would have appreciated a few things to be a little cleaner; baseboards, return vent, tub, but overall, we had a nice stay.

great out of the way place to relax!

Being our 6th time, we pretty much love staying here on occasion when we want to get away from DFW area. The acreage is gorgeous, spacious and the color of the leaves at this time was perfect for Fall! The house has been updated nicely Our dog loves the space to run "leash free" around the yard outside of the house. There are coyotes nearby at times so be careful with pets. Also deer do sometimes come in the morning! The covered porch is the perfect place to view them and just relax!
