We enjoyed our stay in the Twin Oaks cabin. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner, Jim, has four cabins available and we have now stayed in them all. The property is very quiet and the trails/pond are a nice quiet place to get away. The cabin could use some updating, but everything worked as it should. We will definitely stay at the Cumberland Plateau Retreat again.

The cabin was just as expected, very cozy and rustic. Mr Jim was very nice and answered all questions me or my grandchildren asked him. The trails were very nice to walk the pets and have the kids run around.

The cabin / tiny home was very tidy and clean. The host and care taker were very nice. The setting was very quiet and we saw several deer. We had a great time. It was very relaxing, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you!

Love this place!

Very nice, comfortable cabins tucked away on the Cumberland Plateau just a few miles from Fall Creek Falls TN State Park. I have stayed here several times while working in the area and I always love it. Will plan to return again soon.

Wonderful stay!!!!

We enjoyed this stay so much at Twin Oaks! The property owner as well as property manager were so friendly and wonderful to talk to. We had everything we needed and it was not far from Fall Creek Falls. We can’t wait to book again!!!

Perfect, Quiet Cabins on the Plateau

Second time I've stayed here and it has been fantastic both times. I come through the area for field work in remote locations and these cabins are a great place to stay. Easy to get settled in, cook dinner and breakfast, and take off for another day of exploring. Highly recommended!

Nice quiet get away

Nice cabin that sleeps 6 comfortably. Quiet relaxing setting. Clean on arrival. Peaceful walking trail down to the lake. We enjoyed our stay while we visited Fall Creek Falls State Park.

Enjoyed my stay

I have stayed here before and I always keep coming back. It’s located so close to the Falls and is always clean and the owner is very responsive to any requests or concerns. I will be back!

3 Day Slice of Heaven

Great location, wonderful owner, Manager and mascot (sweet kitty named Sunny). The cabin was quiet, cozy and clean. Hope to return, many hiking trails in the area still to conquer.

A quiet place with hiking nearby

As described very quiet setting in a small group of 3 other cabins. Cabin has everything you need and a nice outdoor space with large swings, a nice fireplace and plenty of free wood for s’mores.

The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the property was beautiful. There was a walking trail that led to a “lake” with a nice gazebo for relaxing. We were close to everything we needed. Very convenient! We will be back!!!

Retired in 2004, I needed something to do to occupy my time. Since originally being from TN, and owning several acres on the Cumberland Plateau, it seemed only natural that I would eventually return to my home state. Renting vacation cabins came purely as a coincidence after buying out an ol' Navy buddy and winding up with more cabins than I could use. Since I enjoy meeting and talking to different people, this seemed to be a perfect fit for that passion.

I bought this property several years ago after passing through the area on trips to my mom's place in KY. Since the Cumberland Plateau area offered such serenity and beauty it seemed only natural that I would wind up owning property here.

The quiet and beauty of this area is what attracted us here in the first place. To be able to actually own property here on the Cumberland Plateau and be able to enjoy its beauty year round is a true blessing.
