NEW Listing: Haynie’s Corner “Historic Indigo House” is a newly renovated 4 bedrooms and professionally furnished single family home perfect for group vacations, traveling nurses and professionals.

This Historic beauty is fully updated with modern conveniences. Located steps from the riverside and very close to downtown attractions including bars, restaurants and the local museum.

Home is fully equipped with A/C, heat, wifi, spacious back yard, modern kitchen and dedicated workspaces. In addition, laundry room, snacks and coffee all included with stay.
This is a great home for family and group gatherings for stays such as weddings, birthdays, graduations, and reunions.

Extra bonus: located on Washington Ave, you can walk (2min) over to Bokeh Lounge or enjoy the many outdoor events hosted right outside the front door. (Enjoy live music, local artisan shopping and food truck favorites at “First Friday’s” from May -Oct.)

We stayed at Haynie's Corner for a weekend while attending a concert at the Ford Center. The location was amazing, close to the Ford Center and walking distance to a nice pub! We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room, the back yard was nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine!

We loved our stay at this beautifully renovated historic gem! The size of the rental was perfect for our group, and the two living rooms and spacious kitchen worked out well to host others during our family wedding weekend. It was also nice to have a backyard and parking spaces behind the house. The claw foot tub upstairs was a bit challenging to use as a shower on the upper floor, but the downstairs shower made up for that. I would point out that the primary bedroom windows face the main street, which is somewhat busy. It could also use blackout shades as the lights from the porch shine through the exposed upper porch window. However, the character, space, location and affordability of this house outweighed any of the little inconveniences.

Very beautiful home. Kitchen was updated and very clean. Unique home with everything you need while staying there. Able to walk to a few places to eat. Great location!

The house was amazing. The host was great. Would definitely stay again if it was available when we are in Evansville! The house was roomy and super charming with lots of vintage character. The kitchen is very nice! We all had a fantastic experience. It’s a MUST stay in Evansville. 3 doors down from a bar that had a live band playing. Convenient parking, easy access to everything, and very quiet neighborhood.

Sporting event

This property was perfect for our family stay in Evansville for a sporting event at the Ford Center. Close to the arena, restaurants, etc. Property is as described. Comfortable place to call home for a long weekend with family.

Girls trip

The home is beautiful, rooms are comfortable, very clean. The host was very kind and responsive we had a great time…the only bad thing was the neighbors were yelling and swearing at each other early in the morning on their front porch for hours, which is not the host’s fault or in their control at all, and we have nothing bad to say about the home or host!

This property was not my usual stay. The property is old. The front porch was dirty. The back door had spider webbs. The back gate got stuck and wouldn't open. The floors were uneven, a lot of dips. The upstairs hall light didn't work. The counter tops in the kitchen were not finished. When I wiped the counters off, they looked dirty, but it was the stain on the counter tops ( gross). The power went out for an hour or better. No curtains on the door in themaster bedroom leading to the upstairs porch. The sink on the first floor bathroom has a crack. The upstairs air was to hot. One of the chairs to the dining table, was broke. This house seemed as if they were still working on it and they have a lot to finish. I would not stay there again, especially at that price.
