Check in did not happen - Host ghosted us

Never received check in information. Host did not respond to any outreach from us. Host finally contacted us the following late afternoon to say she had an open IT ticket with VRBO due to double booking issues and said that we would get a full refund. We asked when we could expect our refund but have heard nothing.

Terrible experience

Host (Rhea) did not communicate with us. We had no check instructions and had to contact VRBO directly to try reaching the host. The host did not respond to VRBO either so we had to cancel our reservation and are hoping to receive a refund. On the last day of our original reservation, the host indicated that she/he cancelled the reservation because we did not meet the minimum age requirement (we are both over 50 years). A previous review of this property indicated similar problems. We never got into the property, but it is not near the peaceful park in a desirable neighborhood photographed in the description.
