Arrowhead is the smaller of two adjacent homes located on a 10 acre property on the Olympic Peninsula, about 14 miles west of Port Angeles. The two homes each have their own driveway and are separated by fencing for privacy. Arrowhead commands a lovely view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria and Vancouver Island. Soaking in luxury wood fired hot tub, you may spot ships of all sizes, including flotillas of whale watching boats dashing across the Strait from Victoria to catch a closer glimpse of passing leviathans of the deep.
Arrowhead was completed in July 2024 and best suits 2 guests though it can accommodate up to 4. Arrowhead has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a couch in the living room that converts to a queen bed. It has a full kitchen with all the essentials, washer & dryer, covered carport, wood fired hot tub, outdoor fire pit area and grill.
Ample additional parking is available for trailered boats.
We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to:
- Kitchen with essentials including, coffee, tea, creamer, salt, pepper, and - cooking oil.
- Towels and linens.
- Shampoo, conditioner & body wash
- WIFI
- TV
- Onsite Washer/Dryer
- Fire pit

The Olympic Peninsula is outdoors at its best and Port Angeles is a hidden gem. No matter the weather or season you visit, you are sure to find yourself on an adventure! S2F-Arrowhead is located in the middle of it all, a convenient 15 minute drive to downtown Port Angeles and the Blackball ferry MV Coho to Victoria, BC, a doable day trip. Remember your passport!
Just 10 minutes down the road is one of the area’s best kept secrets: Freshwater Bay County Park, with a boat ramp and wide sandy beach when the tide is out. Fish, kayak, explore the tide pools, splash in the Strait (dogs love it!) and look for herons and river otters.

If you love to travel with your dog (no other animals permitted), we charge $50 per dog as a fee for hosting your furry friend. If there are additional cleaning fees incurred during your stay related to your dog, you will be charged accordingly.
Did you plan an excursion that excludes your pup? Doggie Daycare can be arranged in advance.
We are happy to grant a late checkout, however, guests will be charged for late check out if not communicated. Check out time is 11am unless otherwise arranged with the host... the charge is $25 per 30 minute increments. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*
-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding!
-Maximum number of guests not to exceed 6.
-No pets without prior written approval and payment of pet fee.
-Doggie Day Care is a special service. Day Care availability cannot be guaranteed and cost is not included in the rental fee. The add on charge may vary depending on the number and type of dogs. Requests for Doggie Day Care should preferably be made at the time of booking. Owners need to be aware that dogs will be housed in a crate when not actively interacting with us. Comfort and safety of the dogs is top priority. They may be cared for at `Strait 2 Forest` or at our home ( on the same property). Dogs will have plenty of walks and attention, and any other special needs will be met.
- Pet Policy: Pets are not to be left unsupervised inside or outside the home at anytime. If you must leave them inside the home for a hike, please bring your own crate. Pick up after your pet and dispose in the outside garbage. If we must clean up after your pet there will be an hourly fee for the cleaner’s time. When pets are outside enjoying the fresh air and exploring, we ask that you keep a leash.This ensures the safety of your beloved pet and others. No pets on furniture, beds or linens. Pet hair is very difficult to remove. While we encourage play, laughter and having fun, we ask that you please keep barking to a minimum. If there is excessive hair, dirt or damages incurred during your stay by your pet, we will charge against your security deposit. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
-Only use fire table if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the firetable is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items inside.
-Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.
-Be a good neighbor. No trespassing onto neighboring properties.
-This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.
-Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
-We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.
-Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
-No illegal drugs allowed.
-Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.
-Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.
-No smoking of anything allowed indoors.
-We are honored you decided to choose to stay with Wanderers Choice, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.
-Want to stay an extra hour or so? Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance.
-Please stay out of the attic, crawlspace, shop and storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
-PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
-Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the cabin.
-Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to our home or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.
- Hot Tub: Please enjoy the hot tub but use it in a respectful way. No horse playing which includes but is not limited to; whirl pooling, MAX 4 people in the tub at one time, do not sit on the edges, no food, no glass in or around the tub, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or someone over the age of 18. No one wants to bath with you so please shower prior to use. Use is at your own risk, please exercise caution when entering, exiting, & using the tub.
- Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
