Beautiful, quiet condo conveniently located to Highlands & Cashiers

Pros: We loved our stay at the condo! Old Edwards Club is gorgeous Conveniently located to downtown Highlands & Cashiers Could see fireworks from the balcony Plenty of space! Eddy was incredibly responsive! Cons: I wish it had a grill. We found lots of dog hair on the ground, which is not good for people like me who are allergic. Could not find broiler pan for kitchen.

Outstanding Experience

We have visited Highlands/Cashiers many times over the years and have enjoyed some incredibly nice places; but this one was the best yet ... truly first class in every way. It is handsomely decorated, well equipped and exceptionally comfortable. The best part is how private it feels, perched high with its huge windows and lovely patios open to the sounds of nature and the breathtaking views of the mountains. The floor plan is such that even with three couples there is never a sense of being crowded (three bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms). We all agreed, this delightful condo was the major factor contributing to an outstanding vacation. Kaye W. Atlanta

Spacious Condo with all the amenities

This condo feels like home. It features a wonderful open floor plan, with all the amenities you can ask for. It was nice to have a supply of paper goods and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking items you need, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite nice. We bought a temporary membership at The Old Edwards Golf Club so we were able to play golf there, as well as eat at the clubhouse (we've gotten to know Chef Dave over the last couple years), and the food is great and the staff at both the golf course and the club treated us like members......very attentive and professional. We felt quite at home. A membership also includes use of the pool at the Club, which is quite nice - heated and has mineral water. You can also order from the clubhouse and they will bring food and drinks to you at the pool. The beauty of this membership is the proximity.....you don't have to go outside of the main gates to enjoy all that they offer. The location is ideal.....pretty much halfway between downtown Highlands and Cashiers, so there's lots to do and see from this great location.

Perfect in every way

Everything about this rental was aimed at guests' comfort. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable and the condo spacious. Views from the deck are spectacular. The only addition that could be made would be a gas grill but we enjoyed going out to all of the local restaurants So that really wasn't a negative.

Christmas in the Mountains

Our family was looking for a place with sprawling mountain views and a fireplace to spend Christmas this year. This place worked out perfectly! The views were amazing! The condo was was very well appointed with a very large kitchen! The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the whole downstairs area! The outdoor fireplace on the second deck was a nice added treat as well! And they let us bring our dog which allowed us to have the WHOLE family together for Christmas!!

Perfect family vacation!

Our family tradition is to spend time in Hjghlands around Christmas. Our usual place was booked....which turned out to be a blessing since we ended up here, at this amazing condo. The place was perfect! The views stunning, the furnishings top notch, and the kitchen, with all high end appliances, helped to make our stay one of the best vacations ever in Hughlands. We will definitely book here again, our NEW favorite place. Thank you so much to the owners and managers of the property.

Wonderful Mountain Anniversary

This was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary and escape the city. It's just a short drive to Highlands or Cashiers for great restaurants but we also enjoyed dinner and the condo with the spectacular views and fireplaces. The condo had everything we needed and there is a ton of space. Definitely enough room to come back with kids or friends. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. We very much look forward to going back!

Breath-taking Mounntain Getaway

If we could give it ten stars, we would. What a view and what a place to spend time with a spouse or significant other, or with several good friends. The condo is large; the living room and kitchen superb; the three bedrooms and baths spacious, the beds comfortable and all are furnished and decorated to perfection. We stayed with friends and there was plenty of privacy if one wanted it (to read, nap, or text updates to make those back home jealous). The two balconies, one with a fire place, and the living room, with a fireplace, are perfect for getting together to exchange opinions, jokes, and enjoy each other's company. The other balcony overlooks the vast mountainous terrain. The area golf courses are manicured beautifully and the restaurants serve any type of food you could desire. Shopping is fun and the shopkeepers are friendly. All in all, this mountain view condo is everything you could want -- and more. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property & accomodations

As a previous renter stated, this property offers incredible view of the mountains looking north and northwest. We were lucky enough to have some spectacular sunsets on our visit. The condominium is well furnished and had all amenities needed. Very quiet, top floor and end unit offered lots of privacy and comfort. The owner is very gracious and easy to work with. 10 minutes from downtown Highlands. Would not hesitate to rent again. Highlands Cove Realty made checking in and out a breeze. Looking forward to our next visit to Highlands, and becoming a repeat renter of this wonderful property.

Relaxing Romantic Retreat

This top floor condo, conveniently located halfway between Cashiers and Highlands, has views that are simply breathtaking. There are two balconies, one that overlooks the mountains both short and long range and another screened porch with a fireplace. Each morning we went back and forth with our coffee enjoying the warmth of the fire then appreciating the incredible views. We repeated the same thing each evening with wine in place of coffee. We were instantly relaxed while soaking up the quiet and serenity. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit is tastefully furnished, uncluttered and very comfortable. The living room has a huge flat screen TV on one side and opposite is the floor to ceiling stacked-stone, gas fireplace. The kitchen is bright, clean, spacious and well stocked with appliances, cookware, bake ware and dishes. For those wishing to eat out, there are many very good restaurants in Highlands, some even pet friendly. The owners provided a comprehensive list for us. We purchased the temporary membership in order to indulge in the amenities. The clubhouse is gorgeous and has more outstanding views of the mountains and the golf course. The staff was friendly and most accommodating. The food was excellent. My husband played a round of golf and is still talking about how magnificent the course was. He took at least 50 photos during his game. Highlands Cove Realty manages this property for the owners and they are extraordinary. They coordinated everything to make our visit carefree. We were so grateful for the little extras the management provided. We arrived too late to shop and there was coffee and condiments arranged by the coffee pot. They left starter supplies of dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent. There were also beautiful toiletries in the bathrooms just in case we forgot anything. I have rented many properties over the years and have never stayed in a rental where so much attention was paid to little details. Highlands Cove has a neat app that you can download on your smart phone or tablet that has all sorts of information available before, during and after your stay. Overall, I cannot say enough about this vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the surroundings and the great service provided by Highlands Cove Realty and the Old Edwards Club. The condo owners have done a wonderful job with this rental property. We are already planning to return.

The Perfect Get-away

We have stayed in many lovely rental homes, but we so enjoyed this one we felt compelled to share our experience. This mountain home was beautifully appointed, well equipped, and supremely comfortable. The owner is clearly a horse lover, as evidenced by the wonderful artwork throughout. "Spectacular" is the only way to describe the views! In the evenings, we especially enjoyed relaxing, rocking, and sipping a glass of wine in front of the stone fireplace on the screened balcony. The view off the second balcony is glorious .. a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee, listening to nature sounds and the breeze through the trees. Wish we could give 10 stars!

Great experience

Condo unit was extremely comfortable and clean. Beautiful views from both decks. Management incredibly responsive to issues/questions. Can't wait to return in the Spring. Not the closest to town (actually closer to Cashiers) but a beautiful setting.
