Nice house but Trillum dock was still under construction and we thought it would be available to access lake but it was not.

The perfect weekend!

This beautiful home is perfectly located between Cashiers and Highlands! We had a lovely view of the lake and during the summer the porches would be outstanding to hang out on. We hope to return in the summer for a much longer stay.

Perfect Fall Retreat

We had the most wonderful weekend. We could not have planned for a more perfect weekend to visit Cashiers! The house was perfectly positioned providing both lake and mountain views. The home was decorated nicely with comfort and coziness in mind, it was VERY clean and provided all that we needed for our weekend away. A perfect fall retreat!!

Julie’s home exceeded every expectation we had. The pictures are great, but the views are even better in person, they were far more impressive than we anticipated. The home is absolutely immaculate and has been meticulously maintained, making it feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.The layout was perfect for our family. Having three bedrooms downstairs, along with a second kitchen and separate living area, gave everyone plenty of space to spread out while still enjoying time together. We especially loved the multiple living areas, the beautiful fireplaces, and the two spacious porches where we spent mornings with coffee and evenings taking in the mountain views.Parking was plentiful, which made things easy with multiple vehicles, and the location couldn’t have been better. Club access was incredibly convenient, and we enjoyed several rounds of golf, lunch at the clubhouse, afternoons at the pool, and tennis. We also spent a fantastic day boating on Lake Glenville, which was one of the highlights of our trip.Before booking, we toured several other homes in Trillium, and this one was easily our favorite. The combination of the views, layout, condition, and location made it stand out above everything else we saw.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Julie’s home to anyone looking for an exceptional mountain getaway.

Family holiday

First trip to Highlands area with family. Property was outstanding. Kitchen had everything. Plenty of room for 9 of us. Home is new, clean and stylish. Property manager A+ on response. Close to hiking trails, Cashiers and the Highlands. We will be back!

Summertime in Cashiers/Glenville Area

You will absolutely love this home!!! Julie was a fantastic host. Upon our arrival we found everything anyone could possibly need plus more to get situated in a vacation home on the mountain. Our kids really enjoyed using the fishing poles, kayaks and paddle boards that were available for our use during our stay. Being first time visitors to the area, Julie was very helpful in recommending restaurants and favorite nearby activities for us to visit. We stayed very busy exploring all that the mountains of WNC have to offer. Boating, hiking, zip lining, tree climbing, mountain coasters, gem mining, sliding rocks, tubing, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding were among our favorite activities. We didn’t have an opportunity to play golf or tennis, but the community has that too. The weather was absolutely gorgeous in June with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. If you are looking for a beautifully appointed and emaculately clean home that can accommodate large families and friends look no further than this mountain home minutes from beautiful Lake Glenville. You will want to stay for months! We look forward to returning again next summer. Thank you Julie for sharing your beautiful home!

Julie’s porch is my favorite part of her home. We spent most of our time there - eating, enjoying the view, and playing family games by the fire. The rest of the house is equally beautiful and thoughtfully designed.During our rainy week, the spacious garage provided convenient shelter. The open kitchen, dining, and living area made meal preparation easy. The master bedroom on the main floor saved us from frequent trips up and down the stairs. Downstairs, the three bedrooms, two baths, mini-kitchen, living area, and porch gave our kids privacy. The bunk-room was perfect for our grandchild.We explored the beautiful trails in Tirillium and visited Mule Kicking Falls. The trails provided the natural adventure we hoped for, and the bridges were impressive.We joined the Tirillium Club for the week, using the club’s amenities. We played golf twice, dined at the club, and enjoyed drinks there. Due to the weather, we didn’t use the pool or boating facilities, but we noticed a new clubhouse being built on Lake Glenville, set to open by summer 2026. The fitness center and tennis/pickleball courts appeared top-notch.The Cashiers/Highlands area offers endless activities and dining experiences. The Village Green Playground is very nice in town. We went on a waterfall tour and explored the shops in Cashiers and Highlands. Dining highlights included Whiteside Brewing, Slabtown Pizza, and Ugly Dog Café.Julie is a wonderful hostess and continuously stayed in touch. We will return!
