If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Clean Property - Close to the Beach and Restaurants

Pros - Clean modern condo and grounds. Nice pool. Close proximity to beach and restaurants. Washer and dryer were great! King size bed was comfy (although it was topped with a hot foam pad). Nice shower and towels. Microwave, dishwasher and stove worked well. Good TVs and internet reception. Cons - Musty smell (overwhelming at entrance, but fades as you ascend higher in house) combined with cleaning agent. Living Room furniture needs replacing!! Cookware was poor. Plenty of knives, but no cutting board. Blender, but no lid. I was most disappointed with the poor communication of property staff. We arrived 50 minutes early, but couldn't get in until exactly 4:00pm when the key code became active. The number provided for text messages wasn't answered until the next day. When we asked to extend our visit for 3 additional nights, they wanted $50 more per night than our original cost. I wonder if the owners appreciated getting nothing for those additional nights we requested, as they weren't booked by anyone else, instead of getting our original amount for asking to stay longer???? Oh well, lessons learned....

Our only feedback on property is the uncomfortableness of the bunk beds. They were really hard and it would have been nice to have shades on the windows by the bunk beds.

Nice place

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was pretty much what we expected from the pictures. A short walk to the beach and other local places to eat or shop. The pool was nice and convenient. The home had everything we needed, but the mattresses were too hard for our liking and the pillows lacked any body, but some people like them that way, just not us. The place wasn't as clean as it appeared. I moved one of the cushions to a chair and there was all sorts of stuff under it. So if you took a closer look in areas not in the open, it wasn't as clean as we would like. So we watched as the cleaning teams cleaned other home in the same area, and it took them about 20-30 minutes at best. No way you can do a good job cleaning these places that quick, and we pay several hundred dollars for this.

Gulf shores vacay

Overall it was a great stay! We were a little depressed with how dirty the floors were. They weren’t visibly dirty but within 30 minutes to an hour all of our feet were black. There was also only one remote for all four tv’s upstairs. We ended up having to go buy a griddle because the frying pans were so old you couldn’t cook anything in them without it sticking completely. We borrowed the pool chairs because there were no chairs outside on the patio and got a notification about it which is fine. We are sorry about that! We meant to put them back before we went to sleep but forgot about them after dinner. Also, the beds in the bedrooms were so uncomfortable and my back is still hurting.

NCAA Womens Beach Volleyball Championships

We were pleasantly surprised. When we booked the house it was such a good value that we didn’t think it would be so nice. Everything seemed brand new. It was set up as a perfect rental home with everything you need. The location was great, we walked to the hang out every day to watch Beach Volleyball. It was not nice not to have to pay to park. The washer and dryer was a great benefit. The furniture was very comfortable. The two parking spots were awesome. The bathrooms were well appointed and very nice and updated, we really can’t say enough about how much we liked this house and would love to come back. The beach is just down the street.

Best Vacation Ever at KC's Hide-Out

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location with gulf views and easy walk to the beach and so many fun places. This beach house was very clean and there were plenty of pillows, blankets and bath towels. The balconies are large and perfect for morning coffee with the sun behind you. The pool is steps away and has full sun throughout most of the day. The staff at Aqua are amazing if you need anything at all. We loved that we could walk to the Hangout, Sea N Suds, Sunliner Diner and Gulf Island Grill. Waffle House, Hooters, and Pancake House are also an easy walk. Gulf Island Grill had the best happy hour, Sunliner Diner best breakfast, and we brought home steamed crab legs and Royal Reds shrimp from Blalock's. Sea N Suds was the best dinner, sunset and has a separate beach front daiquiri bar. The Hangout is high energy fun for everyone and it's always a good time. You have to go to understand. We can't wait to come back!!

Exactly what we were looking for

We had a great stay at this property. It got off to a little bit of a rough start the required a call to the after hours maintenance line, but it could not have been handled better. They answer my call on the first attempt and they were out to fix our issue first thing the following morning. They made sure that coming to address the problem the following day was okay, which we were perfectly okay with. Very quiet location, we honestly had no clue we even had neighbor's. Very easy walk to the beach with our young kids. Listing delivered everything it promised.

KC’s Hideout Fall Break

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach for fall break. We found the listing at a great price. The house was beautiful and had lots of room for our family of 7. We have mostly teens and our baby that is 8 yrs. The 3 full baths worked great. 2 bedrooms with large beds and a bunk area and pull out couch made us all very comfortable. This house has lots of steps so not sure we would have liked it as well if we were (we’re in our 40’s) elderly or had small children. It takes about 5 minutes to get to a beach access that is at a stoplight with crosswalk that makes it very easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again. There is a Dollar General store at the end of the street that we drove to and several restaurants. We walked to the restaurants one night with no problems.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location a couple of blocks from the beach. Quite complex. Condo was not very clean, there is a strong mildew smell on the first two floors. We had to burn candles. There was also an ant problem in living/kitchen area. Master bed mattress extremely hard and I like a firm mattress.

Weekend getaway

My family and I went to our sons baseball Tournament there and loved that it had washer and dryer!! I rated the cleanliness a 3 because the stairs and floors were dirty and didn’t look like they were swept or mopped. But overall we enjoyed our stay. You can walk to any of the restaurants and beach.

Beautiful Cottage, Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED the cottage! The minute we walked into the cottage I knew I picked the right place for our vacation! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped for all our needs! We had 7 total in our party and we had more than enough room. It was only a short walk to the beach, which was amazing! My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning and we all enjoyed the pool. It's sits on a quiet street off of one of the main roads and is close to SO many fun places. I will definitely book a cottage again when we return! We had a great time and loved the cottage!
