Neighborhood:
This vacation home is situated within a very desirable, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac with community walking trails throughout. Private neighborhood access to Flathead River is just blocked away with a second public access just 3/10th of a mile away - just perfect for taking in the beautiful scenery or launching your kayaks!
Also, just a 10-minute stroll away is a wonderful playground/park for your family's enjoyment.

The Home:
Inside this tastefully appointed home, you will find kitchen/dining/living combined space featuring a full kitchen with all amenities, dining area & cozy living room with a beautiful gas built-in fireplace. Great single floor layout offers a total of 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed and private attached bathroom with separate bathtub & shower set-up. 2 Guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed, share a full bath with a large walk-in shower.

The Glacier Gateway vacation rental features a beautiful, fully fenced-in backyard perfect for enjoying the outdoors with fun & games on the lawn & barbecuing on the back deck. There is an attached two-car garage with ample additional parking for your boat/ snowmobiles and visitors.

Surrounding Areas:
Very close by to this location is the dynamic downtown area of Columbia Falls, less than 2 miles away, where our lively farmer’s market is held weekly, as well as restaurants, pubs, shops & more, can be enjoyed. Just 3 miles away is the Meadow Lake Resort for the golf enthusiast! Whitefish Mtn Resort is just 17 miles away with great summer & Winter resort activities for all ages.
The Pinewood Park Aquatic Center is a community public pool recreation facility is 1 mile away through safe neighborhood streets for walking or biking. Flathead River access is very close as is the Big Sky Waterpark. Don't miss some of the concerts in area including Under the Big Sky!
The West Glacier entrance to GNP is only 25 minutes up the road, but don’t forget to stop along the way as there are many more recreation adventures to explore!

A wonderful location near the National Park and a very convenient small town. The house had everything we needed available. The back yard was a great spot to hang out after a day at the park and it was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was quite and clean. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again some day.

Property was perfect for our needs; short 20-30 minute drive to GNP, plenty of room, and all the amenities we needed and then some. Brandon was easy to contact whenever we had a question. Would stay here again in a heartbeat when we come back to GNP.

This house was better than their listing. Very clean and the extra care really shows. The back yard is amazing. I’ve stayed at homes for twice the price that were nowhere near the fabulousness of this home.

Peaceful and relaxing

This home was so clean, cozy and accommodating. They’ve done such a great job at making it very welcoming! We’d stay here again and again. The host is very responsive, kind and helpful! We are grateful for their home. We made some incredible memories while visiting the area. So many cool things to see and do around there. Thanks again for the amazing week!

The house was in a great neighborhood on the edge of Columbia Falls, and it was an easy drive to Glacier National Park. This was our first time at a VRBO and we weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The house was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, games, and they even had bear spray for us to carry on the trails (fortunately, we didn't have to use it). It was great having coffee on the patio in the morning, and returning in the evening from the Park and relaxing together watching a movie. I was even able to park my car in the garage at night. If we are back in the area, I would definitely stay here again, and strongly recommend it if you're going to Glacier, Whitefish, or the surrounding area.

Awesome Stay!

Best rental stay we have had by far. Great neighborhood with plenty of deer, perfectly clean and comfortable. Cute town. As my dad said “very thoughtful place”. You’ll find everything you need here with lots of extras stocked throughout the house - snacks, extra towels, etc. Awesome visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location and home

Brandon and his property were a great landing place for myself and my family. The home had many personal touches, including snacks and toiletries. The shaded backyard was a beautiful oasis that our dogs and kiddo enjoyed playing in. When we ran into an issue with one of the bathrooms Brandon was quick to respond and help us out. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Place in Columbia Falls!

House was in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Convenient to dining in Columbia Falls and a short drive to Glacier National Park. Would definitely stay here again in the future! Highly recommended.

Great House for Families with Kids!

It only took about 5 minutes after walking in the front door to already decide we were going to leave a 5 star review. The house is 10 minutes from the airport & 15-20 minutes from park entrance, a definite plus. House is stocked with lots of things you might have forgotten or not thought to bring. We did lots of hiking, so we appreciated the ice packs in the freezers. Pack n' play with sheets was awesome to have. Take a look at the guest book for trail suggestions from previous guests. If we ever make it back to Glacier National Park, this is where we will stay without question!

Great location for Glacier!

This is a very nice house in a peaceful neighborhood. It was very clean and stocked with everything you need. The owners even have a few extra little things in the house that make the stay even better. They really think of the little things!

Great place to stay!

This was a lovely house to stay at. It had a shaded and fairly large yard for our dog and was in a nice neighborhood. We all really enjoyed the little extra touches included in the house I.e. little snacks, waters, extra toothpaste, shampoos, paper plates! All the stuff you might need and didn’t realize you did.

We loved this clean and well stocked property. The sign with our names by the door, bowl of snacks and fresh fruit were fantastic. Staying here made us close to the airport and national park. I would happily stay here again.

The house was perfect for our group. We had everything we needed. The owners provide so many extras. It was close to the park entrance. We visited White Fish. Several restaurateurs and grocery around the area as well. Highly recommend

Excellent stay

We chose the property due to the close location to Glacier. It is absolutely lovely and clean! We had originally planned on having our 3 kids and son-in-law with us. Our daughter and her husband couldn’t make it, so the teenagers had their own rooms which was great to afford everyone a little alone time. We enjoyed coffee and book reading on the back patio. We grilled out one night. It was great to have a dishwasher and laundry. The soaker tub was amazing after long hikes! Safe neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking.

Great Stay in Columbia Falls

We really enjoyed our stay in Columbia Falls. The American Flag and welcome sign on the front porch set the stage for a very clean comfortable home. The location in town was close to our activities yet away from the busy part of town. Our hosts were great to work with. We hope to stay here again.

We started Girl Friday in 2010 for a way for Laura to showcase her passion for decorating and party coordinating. We decided to move from Glacier Gate way closer to our day jobs but kept the house as a branch of service offered by the business. The success of the house has been exciting. At the end of each rental season, we look back at the written comments in the diary that guest love to share their experience and gratitude for all the extra attention Laura puts into their stay. It has been very rewarding, and we do not expect to slow down. If you are in search of an experience that will make unforgettable memories, get ahold of us to customize your experience.
