The lovely living room includes a TV and a bookcase full of books, games, and puzzles. The kitchenette includes all the basics to make breakfast and simple meals to enjoy at the dining room table, or out on your patio. The hosts were really lovely and messaged us before arrival asking what time we expected to arrive so they could leave the lights on for us. The hosts were heading out on a walk when we did arrive so we met them in-person and they were so sweet. Everything was super clean and well-organized so we had access to everything we needed throughout our stay. They even included a helpful binder with instructions for everything from the TV to the AC and recommendations for places to visit in the local area. I truly recommend this stay and these hosts to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or an even longer stay!

Great place to stay. Quiet comfortable neighborhood, plenty to do around if you’re outdoorsy. The location was comfortable & well stocked with anything you’d need. Would return.

I stayed for one night. Upon arrival, parking was a little challenging with a vehicle and trailer since the driveway was already filled with the host’s vehicles. I also wasn’t aware that the host lived upstairs, which did make the space feel less private, especially with their window overlooking the entrance and outdoor seating area we even noticed someone at the window a few times.That said, the studio itself was cozy, very clean, and wellstocked. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, and the welcome binder was helpful. When we went to use the stovetop, the binder mentioned directions in a drawer, but the only instructions there were for a vacuum. Thankfully, YouTube made that an easy fix.The biggest issue for us was noise. Starting around 6pm, there was quite a bit of activity from upstairs footsteps, a child running, and general noise that continued until about 11pm. Since we were trying to settle down earlier, it made it difficult to relax and sleep. The interior door connecting the main house to the studio also appeared unlatched, which made us a little uneasy. We considered latching it, but the stairs were very creaky and we didn’t want the host to think we were trying to enter their space. Checkout, the provided lockbox code didn’t work, though the check-in code did allow us to leave the keys without any problems.Overall, the studio was comfortable, clean, and well prepared, if you dont mind noise and little privacy, it is a nice stay.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry about the commotion from our 3 year old grandson who was visiting. It is usually super quiet. Your general comments will be helpful in updating our description, as we want people to have instructions for the stove and don't want people to be surprised they have neighbors upstairs. The latch at the top of the stairs is for guests to use if they feel the need, as we cannot latch it from our side of the door.
