Make yourself at home in this 2-bedroom Bruce Township retreat. This awesome features 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a futon, 2 bathrooms, heating, WiFi, and more. Guests can relax in the tranquil surroundings and take advantage of the convenient amenities provided. Enjoy all that Bruce Township has to offer when you stay at our place.

We are happy to welcome pets in our property. For dogs, we require a $250 refundable deposit and a $10 per night fee. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a dog. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing bully breeds.

To ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests, we ask that your pet is well-behaved. Pet cleanup is the responsibility of the guest, so please be sure to clean up after your pet during your stay.

We had a perfect Christmas at this house! The house was very clean and had an updated washer and dryer which was helpful. The house was nice and quiet in the country but still close enough to downtown Romeo where my family was located. The host was quick to communicate with and helped us extend our check out reservation.

Charming Farmhouse Stay Near Big Red OrchardWe stayed at this beautifully renovated farmhouse while attending a wedding at Big Red Orchard — just 8 minutes away — and it was perfect for our weekend. The home is tastefully updated, with a large yard and frequent visits from local wildlife, which made the setting feel peaceful and relaxing.It was a very comfortable stay, and we honestly don’t understand the negative review left by the previous guest — our experience was completely different. The house was clean, welcoming, and full of charm. We’d happily stay again!

Not so charming

First, note that you are not communicating directly with the owner(s) as they use a third party based in the Philippines and that the owner(s) actually live next door, which at first was okay - but then when concerns arose, they pretty much ghosted us. Amenities were important due to the length of our stay. We arrived to a note on the counter that the washing machine and dishwasher were broken, but they would do their best to get them fixed. The washer was fixed the day prior but no attempt was ever made regarding the dishwasher. There were NO window coverings for privacy - a few white sheers, so we hung sheets over the bedroom windows. Their "Fitness Center" is merely a Bowflex machine in a dungy Michigan basement, which was locked and couldn't even be accessed even if we wanted to. BUT - worse was the dirt/lead/rust that was coming out of the primary bathroom faucets. We were told it was due to pipes that froze a month prior but the plumbing was fixed and if we ran the faucets, it should clear up. It never did - which meant we had to use bottled water for everything. Then there were the bugs!! We were informed "after" our arrival that we may see some "Boxelder" bugs. That was an understatement. When we mentioned this she indicated that they live in the walls so its ok. There was only one tv remote and no extras such as games/spices/bowls/etc. Bare minimum at best. They were kind enough to supply firewood. All in all it was gross/unsanitary and we left a week early!

BEWARE HOSTS Sharon you should let people know that you threw the biggest fit on the planet when we refused to pay you on VENMO and simply requested you adjust your reservation on VRBO like a normal guest. Additionally, you should tell people that the real reason you left early and LIED AN ENTIRE LIST OF DISSATISFACTIONS to both VRBO and Expedia. You stayed at the house because your house was under construction and construction ended early. Please tell the world Sharon that there were a total of 6 box elder bugs near the sunny window in the front room. Apparently living 10 minutes south makes her a complete imbecile and when temperatures warm up in an old farmhouse, heaven forbid there are harmless box elders in the window! Here are the facts: The washer machine was installed last summer and has never not worked. The dishwasher wasn't draining correctly and we advised her that it was functioning but that she may not want to use it. There are and were three TVs with 3 TV Remotes Nothing came out of the faucets except for water. Karen was very kind and cordial - even came over and enjoyed coffee and spent two hours at our home when she first arrived. We had given her a 40% discount because we felt sorry for her. PLEASE NOTE THIS GIRL IS PISSED OFF AT US BECAUSE WE REFUSED TO GO OFF-PLATFORM AND SEND HER A REFUND FOR DOING A SIMPLE RESERVATION ALTERATION. Our farmhouse is cleaned to the nines and if it was gross/unsanitary it was because she is gross and unsanitary. WILL SEE THIS ONE IN COURT
