Island Girl-Beautiful 4BD Ocean View-Private Pool-Pet Friendly

Welcome to Island Girl, located in the heart of Surfside Beach. This 3 story Ocean View beach home is exactly what your family needs! Relax in your own private pool that can be heated in the cooler month, or kick back 2 ocean view balconies on the front of the home. Please don't forget to bring your furry family as well as we are PET FRIENDLY. Just across the street from the white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, and just a 2 min golf cart ride to restaurants, the pier, and more!

When arriving at the home, you will notice the amble amount of parking in front of and under the home. Once you have entered the home using your smart code with our smart lock, you will be in instant vacation mode!

Our kitchen is fully stocked with all items needed for those meals in or just those quick lunches in between hours on the beach.

Island Girl has 1 bedroom (king) on the main floor of the home right off the kitchen area and 1 full bathroom

Walking upstairs you will find the 3 other bedrooms of the home plus 2 large bathrooms all with fully remodeled custom showers

Bedroom 2: (2) Bunk beds.. Twin/Twin
Bedroom 3: (1) Twin and (1) Queen
Bedroom 4: (1) King

Our favorite room is the master bedroom upstairs with your own private entrance to one of two large front porches of the home. Its the perfect area to kick back and relax with a glass of wine or get your day started with wonderful cup of coffee.

In the backyard, we have a private pool for you to use. Custom installed artificial turf and pool loungers. Fully enclosed outdoor shower for you to wash off the sand. :)

After a day at the beach, throw some steaks on the propane grill and cannonball right in the pool while kids and pets are all inside the fully fenced backyard.

Motorcycles, golf carts and trailers are permitted.

All linen is provided for your stay, just not beach towels, so please don't forget to pack!

No smoking inside the property, this is strictly enforced.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to the condition and cleanliness of the property. When we arrived, there was trash around the pool and on the balconies, stains on the walls and couch, a large hole in the couch cushion and food spilled on the kitchen island.In addition, the microwave did not work during our stay.We reported this and a maintenance person arrived the following morning. He stated it would cost 400 to repair and would let the management company know. We never heard anything after that. The property did not appear to be properly cleaned or maintained. I hope these issues are addressed for future guests. The property is a short walk to the beach and was pet friendly, which was a plus for us.

Island girl beach house

This home was beautiful and very comfortable! Plenty of room for parking truck trailer and motorcycle. Location was also perfect. We will be back!

Our host was great. I had one question during our stay and she responded within minutes. I also had made a special request, which was approved quickly. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there were plenty of towels provided, we even had extras. The house was very clean and the location great. The house was perfect for us with a downstairs bedroom as one in our party cannot climb stairs well, and a separate master upstairs. Surprisingly, there was no pet odor, it’s a great setup for dogs. This house and host are keepers.

Great house across from the beach

The house is furnished very nicely and was spacious enough for two families with 4 kids under 15. Drawers and cupboards were labeled which mitigated confusion and looking for items for 10 minutes. If we’re back in the area we would definitely look to stay here again.

The property was exactly as advertised and very enjoyable. We were traveling with two large-ish dogs (doodle mixes) and the property was well suited for our purposes with the dogs loving the fully enclosed backyard space and watching us swim in the pool. The pool was perfect for the kids who spent many hours swimming every day. We cooked at the house every day, the kids had plenty of bathrooms and showers as needed, and we didn't even use two of the bedrooms, all of which were tastefully adorned and well suited for purpose. Our kids loved the bunk room for late night chatting while we enjoyed the large main suite with attached large bathroom and walk in shower. The only small downside is that the floors could have been a little cleaner. There was some dust and sand on the floor and my wife ended up vacuuming. However, it was very minor and we didn't even bother telling the host who was very communicative and easy the whole trip. Additionally, the floor was totally understandable given the proximity to the beach. Speaking of the beach, the views and sounds of the beach were lovely, especially from the third level. We walked from the house to the beach several times and appreciated the outside shower to wash off the sand and salt before jumping in the pool. All in all, I would happily stay at this property again and will recommend it to others.

Property is steps from the ocean. Has a nice pool and is very convenient to most all places in Surfside Beach. Overall we loved our stay. Plenty of room for 2 families. 4 kids. We brought our dogs and had no problems. Neighborhood is full of very nice, friendly people. Beach is beautiful and clean. Main complaint was we planned several meals around the gas grill. The grill was less than ideal (had to light it with a torch lighter, burners rusted out) and my message about the problem went unanswered. It didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay but for the price of the stay, it would have been nice to have everything functional.
