A Wright Place, located at 6803 Holmes Blvd., is a comfortable two bedroom, two bath duplex with poolside den which can easily serve as a third bedroom. It's exactly what you are looking for in a peaceful Anna Maria Island retreat. Located in a quiet, lakeside residential neighborhood, this unit features all the ingredients for a special getaway. Bring your fishing pole - maybe you'll catch a big one from the fresh water bayou. Shopping, restaurants and the library are close and convenient. The emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico is a short stroll down a side street. Washer and Dryer on site.

There is a heated salt water pool surrounded by lush, island landscaping and even a wonderful nook perfect for reading or snoozing with a view of a natural bayou. After a day at the beach, BBQ in the evenings on the gas grill at poolside.

This unit sleeps six with a king size bed, two twin beds, and a futon in the lower level, poolside den.

There is a 40" television in the living room with a DVD player. There is a 24" television in one of the bedrooms. Free Wifi is provided.

The Wright Place is a one week minimum rental. Our rentals will generally run from Saturday to Saturday, especially during very busy months and over holidays. Rates do vary over throughout the year and are calculated at higher rates during our busiest months of March and July as well as the holiday weeks of Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

One small pet is allowed with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee.

Parking is limited to two cars.

The Wright Place is a one week minimum and 2 1/2 blocks to the beach.

You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Fantastic location—everything was just minutes away by golf cart, which made exploring so easy and fun! The bed was super comfortable, and we had a great stay overall. While the home is a bit dated and could use a little extra cleaning in spots, it didn’t take away from our trip. We’d definitely stay here again!

Relaxing getaway at A Wright Place

We had a fantastic stay at *A Wright Place* on Anna Maria Island! The location couldn’t be better—just two short blocks to a beach access point, making it super easy to enjoy the ocean anytime.The home was clean, beautifully updated, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils, and everything needed for cooking or grilling. The master bedroom bed was very soft and comfortable. Our adult kids found the twin beds a bit firm and wished they were XL length, but they’d be great for younger guests.The saltwater pool and surrounding area were a highlight—peaceful, beautifully landscaped, with both sun and shade and lots of seating. It really felt like our own private oasis. The outdoor shower and privacy gate made coming back from the beach easy, and the laundry room was well-stocked with beach gear like chairs, toys, and even a volleyball.There are a number of stairs, including a fun spiral staircase connecting the main level to the pool and laundry area, which worked well for us but might be a consideration for others.The management company was friendly, responsive, and checked in throughout our stay. We’re already talking about planning our next visit!

These amenities can't be beat and the pool area was spacious and private. The house was clean and updated from the photos, which was a nice surprise. The only disappointment was that the pull-out couch described in the lower den was actually a small leather futon. This was not large enough for my two children so we purchased an air mattress that worked ok for the short trip. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys which was awesome. Overall, our stay was a great value and we would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. Unit was just as advertised. Private pool was awesome!! Lots of stairs so I wish I wouldn’t have broke my leg about 6 weeks ago. We had a blast though! Beach is right down the street!! Would recommend this place.

Great place to stay!

Loved the pool and the quick walk to the beach. It was a short drive to get to the grocery store or a short walk to take the shuttle. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family had a great week! The pool was awesome, location was awesome! It was a short walk to the most beautiful beach! It had everything you would need! Downstairs area had a sofa bed that was perfect for our teenage daughter and her friend within steps to the pool! We highly recommend!

Another wonderful trip to AMI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented many houses on AMI and this one had the best pool area. It was spacious, clean and very private. The unit itself was nice. We appreciated the updated kitchen and one updated bath (which isn't shown as updated on the website so it was a nice surprise.) The other bath definitely needs some attention. The bedrooms were a good size and it was nice to have large closets and plenty of hangers. The bureaus need to be replaced as they seem to be antiques and we were afraid to use them too much. The top drawer in the twin bedroom was unusable. We made good use of the nice beach chairs, wagon and pool floats. The washer and dryer are newer and came in handy so we could return home with clean clothes. There was definitely a musty odor in the lower level and was trying to be disguised with a strong air freshener. We met the owner once and she was nice. The rental company was very attentive. The cable stopped working on our first day there and the cable company came out within a few hours to replace the box and remote on a Sunday. We will definitely consider renting this house again. Overall we had a great spring vacation.
