Your Port Alto adventure begins at this lovely 3-bedroom house. With 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed, this property offers a cozy space for guests to relax. With its scenic beaches and relaxed atmosphere, Port Lavaca offers all of the charm of the Texas Gulf Coast, just 20 minuets away. Beyond the little known sandy shores you will discover Port Lavaca is full of surprises. Known for Duck Hunting and Fishing you can also find and enjoy a variety of museums, fascinating historical sites and a performing arts theater. Here are a few of the many attractions in Port Lavaca:

Place is extremely clean and well kept. Host is excellent and available when needed. Nice and quiet neighborhood, neighbors were friendly. Would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. Love the house set up and the beautiful view from the huge porch. Big kitchen was fully equipped with pass through window to a bar on the patio. The pictures don't do this place justice. It was so quiet! very relaxing.I plan on going back and use the private pier to with grands and friends who love to fish. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was very low water pressure.Couldn't take shower or wash dishes in the dishwasher. There was enough of a dripple to wash by hand.The owner did warn, but we were only spending two nights. I'm sure it will be in good shape next time we go. The view, quiet and peace, large clean home makes this a 5 star place.

One Night Stay

Pleasantly Surprised. I booked a one night stay last minute. While searching for a hotel, I came across this. We made it down there and was impressed with the neighborhood and the entire property. The house is very nice. It has that comfortable Coastal feel. The pier was nice with the lights. I caught several trout under the green light. Most importantly my wife was happy. She manages and cleans several Properties in Point Venture, TX, which makes her a tough critic. She wants to head back down for a longer stay. We highly recommend the Cozy Coastal Retreat. The title says waterfront views. This property is actually on the water which has amazing views. Very well managed. Thanks.
