Lovely place

Sao Martinho is a great little coastal town with a beautiful beach. The apartment was great and very close to all the local amenities. Cathal the host was very responsive and they were hugely flexible around checkin. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Sao Martinho

Lovely apartment very conveniently located to the town, 5 minute walk over the railway line to many restaurants. Being close to the railway was fine, it didn't cause us any problems with noise!The apartment was really well furnished, comfortable sofas, beds and a well equipped kitchen . The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Having two balconies, each providing a different view, meant if you wanted sun or shade at any point during the day could.The shared pool was huge and never busy which was great. The toilets down at the pool were sparkling clean. We stayed for one week and would definitely stay again. Communication was great and we were able to check in early which was appreciated. The only suggestion is, it would have been good if there was a safe to put valuables in. Would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

Our Portugal vacation

Great privacy because of top floor location. Close to boulevard and major attractive restaurants. Check in/out with Nicola was very comfortable, no stress. The appartement provides all items for a relaxing vacation. Would highly recommend.

A nice cozy place in São Martinho!

Despite some cleaning issues, it was a pleasant stay in a beautiful apartment. Great location, wonderful shared pool, and very well decorated. You can find everything you need in that kitchen. Thank you!

Good location. Very comfortable and spacious. Having two balconies, one facing east and the other facing west was very nice. Sunrises and sunsets were enjoyable. The only thing was that the garage opener was not working properly (half broken) and did not work always. We managed to park in front of the building. And our last night there was a problem with the gas, so we did have hot water. Next morning was fixed. Nicky was great, answers promptly and very helpful.

Wonderful stay

We had a fabulous ten days at the apartment. Great communication from the beginning of the booking process and added bonus of a meet and greet on arrival. Great apartment in an excellent location for access to the beach and the local restaurants. Apartment is modern and well stocked, a real home from home. We loved the two balconies which gave options for sun or shade all day long. This was our first visit to Sao Martinho do Porto and we were very impressed with the area. We would certainly love to return to the resort and this apartment. Thanks for a great holiday.

Our only complaint was that the fridge was not on when we arrived. We booked for 3 nights, and brought food with us. We turned up the fridge and it actually froze most of our food. We ended up having to throw out food that spoiled after freezing.

Good location

Short walk to beach and restaurants. Pool was quiet with plenty of space. Apartment was clean and comfortable and kitchen had lots of utensils for cooking etc. Air conditioning worked well but there are only units in the lounge and one of the bedrooms. Fortunately it wasn't too hot during our stay so wasn't really a problem. There is a train line at the front of the apartment but only a few trains a day go past and they're not noisy. You have to cross the line to get to the beach but not a problem as the trains are diesel! Lovely walk along the beach or on the boardwalk to the sand dune where you can get refreshments in the cafe. Also the tourist information centre has a glass lift that takes you above the town where there are great views across the bay.

Super ! Nous sommes des habitués du logement de Cathal et nous ne sommes jamais déçus. L'emplacement est idéal, près de la plage et des commerces. L' appartement est spacieux et très confortable avec une vue superbe sur l'océan !La piscine commune est immense et très bien entretenue.Merci à Nicola et Cathal dont l'accueil est toujours au top !Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

A comunicação com o dono foi sempre rápida e clara, o que tornou todo o processo muito fácil. O check-in também foi simples e sem complicações. A casa é agradável, embora o anúncio não corresponda a 100% ao que encontramos, mas no geral a estadia foi positiva.

Na semana escolhida, o clima não foi o melhor... De resto, tudo ótimo! O apartamento corresponde à descrição e oferece muito boas condições. É relativamente moderno, bem equipado, próximo da praia e calmo.

Excellent séjour !

C'est la deuxième fois que nous louons cet appartement chez Cathal. Nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour Sao Martinho et pour ce logement qui est impeccable et idéalement situé. Les hôtes Cathal et Nicola sont disponibles et très agréables. Nous les remercions encore vivement pour leur accueil.

Idéal pour rayonner autour

Nous avons rejoint facilement Tomar, le château d’Almourol, Obidos et même Sintra. Deux grands balcons en boni! Beau condominium.

Très bon séjour avec quelques remarques négatives

Situation idéale. Belles terrasses. Vaisselle pas propre à cause du lave vaisselle en manque de produit d entretien et problème d 'évacuation des eaux en cuisine. À part ça très bien équipé et confortable.
