Beautiful home and property. Great location, close to so many vineyards and other places we wanted to visit. Cynthia was so great to work with! Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great house because there were lots for kids and teens to do here, with basketball, the hot tub, foosball, and the air hockey table. Rooms were nicely sized, although we didn't realize that two of the bedrooms are located above the garage.The landscaping is quite nice, with lots of outdoor seating possibilities. Looking over the vineyards is very peaceful. We were able to walk our dog along the road with very minimal car traffic.Host was quickly responsive about a few things, but we had some questions that also went unanswered. Overall was fine.Not far from a lot of wine tasting, as well as a quick 15 minute drive to Healdsburg.

We had a great stay. We were able to bring our extended family together over Christmas in a new place for the first time. We had two dogs with us and they did great. We tried out the hot tub and it was very clean and spacious and enjoyed a drizzly winter night in the hot water under the stars. The main building is vintage farmhouse style, just beautiful, with lots of light coming in from the surrounding hill country forest and vineyards. The main living room has a comfort, warmth, and familiarity to it that made us feel at home. The kitchen was perfect, with all the supplies we needed to make several big meals. Two of the bedrooms are in another building, on the second floor, which also has a game room on the first floor and a living space with fold-out bed, sink, refrigerator and counter space up above. It’s just right for members of the group that need their own privacy and space. The town of Windsor is 8 minutes away, with lots of shopping, grocery stores, and a cool Mexican market where we had a great meal in the attached grill. We had so much fun doing some last-minute Christmas shopping in and around the town square, and even visited the library. So really you have the best of both worlds, small town convenience and rural country-side beauty. Santa Rosa is 20 minutes away if you need more services. All in all it was a wonderful experience for our family.

The property and the surrounding area were beautiful and we were excited to begin our trip but it started out badly and went on to be worse. There were several health and safety issues throughout our stay. Upon arriving at the property men were working on a plugged toilet and we were told we could not use it. This was difficult because there were 7 people and the property was described as having 4 bathrooms. The first night we could not get the heater to work in the apartment. The host was notified and a repair man worked on it but it never did work well enough to heat the apartment. Temps were in the 40's. Several days later we noticed a leak spraying out of some pipes in the back yard. Again the host was notified and repairman was dispatched. Our water was cut off during showers and dinner on Saturday night for over 3 hours. The interior had a lack of attention to cleanliness as the oven smoked up the house upon use as did the BBQ. The coffee pot was filthy as were the dining room chair seats. The house was not kept up well. We asked the host to apply a partial refund in view of the issues we experienced but she would not. A bonus was that the property was in the flight path of an airport and adjacent a dog kennel so if you're looking for peace and quiet this is not the place.
