Nestled on the banks of the Crooked River, this charming retreat offers a central location to enjoy all four seasons of Pure Michigan fun! From thoughtfully appointed bathrooms, bedrooms that can sleep up to 16 guests, a kids hang out named Camp Run Amuck, newly updated for Summer 2025, to a stocked kitchen, Bear Cabin offers something for everyone in the group. Modern amenities include high speed internet, EV Charger, 2 sets of washer/dryers, wood burning fireplace and  year round outdoor hot tub. Guests can enjoy the use of 4 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddle boards or bring your boat and park it at the private dock.  Three hundred seventy five feet of waterfront provides plenty of room to spread out and challenge each other to yard games in the park like setting. Evenings can be spent sharing stories of your day’s adventures around the fire pit or gazing at a star filled sky from the outdoor hot tub. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place and enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer.  Gather your group of friends or family and hurry to this central Northern Michigan location and be our guest at Bear Cabin in Alanson.

Parking Note:  we can fit 5-6 cars in our driveway depending on their size.
