The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The huge TV in the living room was a plus and the mattress was very comfortable. We would stay again!

Nice little place, comfortable beds, basics amenities in kitchen. Only suggestions would be some rubber spatulas in kitchen and maybe a new rug in the front room, I know they have cleaned it but that lingering smell of pet urine is still present.

Very comfortable. Would be nice to have a dresser in the 2nd room to put things instead of having to bend down to a suitcase each day.

Would not send checkin info

Paid for the stay for 3 nights to visit family and enjoy our anniversary. Drove 8 hrs and never received the code to check in and host never responded. Called vrbo customer service and they could not get ahold of the host so they refunded our money and we had a hard time finding a place to stay since it was a holiday weekend

Great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place! It had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the showers was great. Nice, safe location. Easy to get to/from places. Place has a garage which we used one evening during a rain storm but otherwise felt completely safe leaving our vehicle on driveway overnight. We didn’t get a chance to use the nice deck area with bbq grill but this is definitely a great feature of the property. The large tv in the living room was a hit with my husband. Each of the bedrooms also had tv’s (we didn’t use). Check in and check out was simple with great communication with Andy throughout our stay. Would stay here again next time we’re in Poplar Bluff. Definitely recommend!

PROS: The house is cute inside and the beds are very nice. The living room tv is huge & the ones in the bedrooms are nice also. CONS: Future renters should be aware of the following: It’s a duplex. Outside unkept. Pics of the home in the listing show nice, electric, leather furniture. However, only one of the three pieces of furniture (the big couch) actually work. We immediately notified the owner and they responded that they needed new electric plugs and would try to get them the following day. They never showed up. We had to rewash the items that were LEFT in the washer AND dryer when we arrived. Everything was sour. We also had to wash the quilt in master bedroom before using it because it also was very sour smelling (as soon as you entered the room) as was all towels in the hall bathroom. The pot holders were ALL dirty with dried on food so we washed them, too. So we had to do several loads of laundry just to get things usable. We used Clorox wipes on counter tops, stove and table and the wipe was brown afterwards. Also the bbq grill was covered in rust. My husband scrubbed the grill the best he could to get it usable as we planned on grilling steaks. We were looking forward to sitting on the deck in the evenings but the furniture was filthy and the canopy shown in the pics online isn’t there. Owner says new canopy is ordered. Disappointing in many aspects, unfortunately. We still enjoyed our stay but felt it fair to inform future renters about these situations.
