Would definitely stay again!

We had two families stay at the Storer House this winter and the house could not be more perfect for our needs. Spacious and beautiful, with a breathtaking view of the snowy mountains, it made our trip to Colorado feel so warm and special. When we needed help with the thermostat or to ask for additional appliances like a hairdryer, we were able to promptly reach out to several contacts to get the help we needed. It was also within very convenient distance of the Steamboat Resort and to grocery stores. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for accommodating us!

Lovely home, great location

The house was very beautiful and the location was excellent. Having access to the 2-car garage to park our car was a definite plus. Situated on a hill at the south end of town and the back yard surrounded by mature trees -- even though it was very hot during our visit, the balcony/patio off the kitchen where we spent a lot of time was very comfortable. Note that there is no air conditioning in the house, so the upstairs was pretty warm when we arrived. High temperatures are not normally an issue in Steamboat Springs, but the weather was unseasonably hot during our stay. However, there is a whole-house attic fan that very quickly cooled down the house once the temp started to dip in the evening -- we opened a couple of windows, then closed them again before we left in the late morning each day. It stayed nicely cool in the upstairs of the house during the rest of our time there and sleeping was quiet and the perfect cool temperature. We had a couple of small issues at the beginning of our visit that were efficiently handled by the property manager, Anna and the owner, Kelly. We appreciated their prompt and courteous assistance. The only negatives that we could mention are that while everything functioned perfectly and was very clean, the finishes are dated and the carpet in the living/dining room looked like it had been recently cleaned, but was 'wavy' in spots and needed to be re-stretched (a little bit of a trip hazard). However, those minor items did not detract from our stay and we would love to stay there again.

Plenty of space

We loved this house! There is plenty of space that even our group of ten had tons of room to spread out. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and you can easily walk to the park. It’s about a five minute drive to the slopes and also easy access to downtown/grocery stores. There are also plenty of supplies and towels. If you are traveling with a baby, there is a pack and play, stroller and booster seat, which is helpful if you forget/can’t bring all of those items. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Gathering

The views from the house are spectacular and the location is great. We enjoyed our big family gathering with meals at the large dining room table every night. The snow was light and fluffy on the slopes for great skiing and snowboarding experiences!

Large home, excellent location

This is the second winter we have chosen to stay at this house for a long weekend of skiing. This house has plenty of room where you can do group activities but also find somewhere to take a break. The kitchen is amply stocked for anything you want to make. Location is gorgeous and not far from anything in Steamboat.

Lovely ski vacation for large family

Our group of 12 really enjoyed our stay at this property. There was ample space for adults and children of all ages. The mountain views from the kitchen and dining area were spectacular. The home was within a few miles of the ski bass. They were plenty of shopping centers and dining options nearby. I would have given it a five out of five rating however the driveway was not clean and we had to shovel it on our own. Other than that, I would certainly consider coming back to this property in the future..

Very accommodating

The home met the needs of our two families perfectly. Home was well-stocked, homey and comfortable. The only thing I’d change is with the checkout. Since our checkout time is fairly early at 11:00, it was a mad dash to get plates washed, dried and put away before we left. It would have been nice to leave the dishes in the dishwasher after completing it’s clean cycles. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed the stay and the interaction with the owner.

Family Vacation 2019

This house was perfect for our big, family vacation with 3 families and 10 people. Lots of room to spread out, well supplied kitchen, lovely convenient location, nice views. I’d highly recommend it to any larger group who needs space for kids and adults to do their things.

This home was perfect for our family!!!

This home was amazing and the perfect place for our family Holiday gathering. There are so many spaces to gather and enjoy. We had ping pong tournaments, piano song fests . Also used the two card and game tables for card games and puzzle working. Everything was so convenient for enjoying each other and having all these activities on two levels was so nice to spread everyone about. The location was very convenient to the town , restaurants and the hot springs recreation facility. The sledding hill behind the house was the perfect playground for our kids from ages 9-23 when they were not on the ski slopes. Kelly has all the kitchen equipment and supplies to make anyone feel at home and easily prepare any food that is necessary. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms plentiful!! Can't say enough positive comments for this property and Chris the ,on site manager, was there for us when we needed him. All in all , this was the perfect home to rent for a family vacation and we hope to return for another visit in the future!!

This house was a favorite!

We have stayed in many homes through the years, as our family travels to Colorado every summer. This year we chose Steamboat Springs. When we opened the door to the wide open feel of this home we were extremely pleased! The windows were facing gorgeous landscapes in every room. We loved fitting at the large table as 12 of us sat together making memories around the dinner table. The college kids played ping pong all week and enjoyed playing the piano as well. The kitchen was a huge blessing as we made our meals together and had plenty of room and every appliance we could dream of at our fingertips. We also appreciated how well this house was made. Those who slept in the basement rooms were amazed how quiet it stayed even with people walking around upstairs. We hope to make this a yearly stay! Twelve enthusiastic thumbs up from our family!!! A wonderful family holiday

We loved this house. It was everything the photos promised and more. Gorgeous views in all directions. Very clean and comfortable for whatever we wanted to do - playing board games, cooking family favorites, relaxing, visiting. Plenty of locations for multiple activities at once. Easy to get downtown and easy to drop off skiers. Well appointed kitchen for people who love to cook. Even laundry facilities for wet snow play clothes. Bedrooms were comfortable. We had eleven people: seven adults, three middle-graders, and one preschooler, and never felt crowded. Directions and check-in, information was good. Some of the linens were a bit tired. And little bit more info like "bring bath soap" and location of extra paper supplies or dishwasher soap would have been helpful - but these are nits compared to the overall. The check out list could use a little more thought.

Has it All!

The house is large, very well maintained , very clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect. All three generations had a terrific time. I could not find anything negative to say. Everything was as promised, We all look forward to another visit next year.

Great house, wonderful view, offers what most would want.

We enjoyed this house a lot, with a great location and a wonderful view, the house offered a lot. Good set of amenities and space. The mattresses were a bit dated, causing some sore backs, and there was only 1 TV in the house. Otherwise, I would definitely bring my guests back again.

Lots of OPEN SPACE!

We stayed here in June 2015 and it was super. Great for a large family or TWO! Neat touches like a screen so we could show slides! Close to everything. Kelly was a super responsive host. Made our stay easy. Only hope for the house: HOT TUB please!

New Year's 2015

We had a great stay. The house is lovely, well appointed, and has great views of the mountain with plenty of light. Despite the -25 degree temps, we were warm and there were no issues whatsoever.
