Thank you for the feedback Michele! Would like to take a minute and address some of your comments. Communication - From the start, I feel like you were having issues on your end with the VRBO app when you messaged saying your reservation wasn’t showing up on your end with the other reservations on your trip, I assured you that it showed up on our end and we had the place reserved for your stay. A week out you stated you had the property address but needed the access code. Not knowing exactly who we as hosts are talking to through VRBO, I never give out any access codes to guests until the day of their stay, especially a week out, This is to ensure the safety of the guest that are currently staying on property, After stating you had the address (10/16), you messaged on the 22nd needing the address, which I promptly sent along with all the pertinent check-in information within 10 minutes. Keypad Batteries - I leave the door unlocked for every arriving guest so they don’t have to mess with punching in a code should they have their hands full with luggage and such. I had no idea the batteries were dead prior to your stay. Had I known, it's a quick 2 minute fix, and I definitely would have changed them out. When you messaged about the situation, I messaged immediately, then called when no reply. As stated when guests check in, I live right next door, so said I would bring over batteries multiple times but was turned down because you were “in for the night, and leaving in the morning” Driveway - The weather this spring and summer has been undeniably wet, but hasn’t warranted moving the driveway that has been in the same location for 30 years. We try to make our place super accessible for all our guests and have not had any issues during the year we’ve been hosting. Dishwasher - Not enough room in cabinet layout during remodel. Not listed on house amenities. Bathroom Counter - Brand new live edge wood vanity top, fits space without inhibiting access to toilet and shower Nightstand - One nightstand is provided Ice Trays - Antiquated and ice would be thrown out Keurig - Additional K cups were located in cabinet above stove Hope this answers some of your questions and concerns. We strive to make all our guest’s stays as perfect as possible. We have had nothing but perfect reviews on both rental platforms (VRBO/Airbnb) for the last year. Sorry we were unable to meet your expectations, but would love to give it another chance if you are ever back in the area, Safe travels!!
