Located 1.5 miles from Johnstown, on a quiet hillside, this house is a dream with a great view. Johnstown has great historical significance, where immigrants from all over the world came for work in the steel mills. The Heritage museum is a fascinating historical journey into the past, and there is also a Flood museum (the city was destroyed several times by horrific floods). Upon entering, guests remark that they feel totally relaxed. This house feels vintage, yet outfitted for the modern age. You will enjoy the view from the dinette in the sunroom, with your morning coffee or evening nightcap. With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds, 1 twin over full bunk bed, guests will have plenty of space to unwind. The upstairs full bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer, shower, and bathtub for added convenience. There is a half bath on the first floor. The main entrance is 2 stories up, by way of a concrete stairway, so take that into consideration if anyone in your party has health problems. Enjoy your stay in a quiet location minutes from Johnstown at our brilliant house.

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania not far from the Hershey chocolate factory and Amish country. I have retired from the Army, Navy and DoD. I love getting away from the city and occasionally use this as my second home. I find it very easy to relax here and enjoy the house and environment and it makes me feel good having other people feel the same way.

Perched on a hillside with a view of the mountains, this house will entice you to relax, especially if you're used to a bustling city life.

This house is built into the side of a hill facing the southwest. It overlooks a quaint town and you can see the mountain beyond. There aren't many houses up here and it feels very serene. The view from the sunroom is always amazing, and you can often see birds and red-tailed hawks flying below the window view.
