Just was very communicative and responsive.This is an older home in a very rural area that suited our needs perfectly. We were in this specific area to be close to family we were visiting. The home was quaint and provided all the amenities that we required for our stay.The bar next door is a bar out in the same rural area and if you like dive bars with a strong presence of locals, then you’ll love it. If you’re not a dive bar person, then look for something else and don’t complain about the rental as if the bar is their fault. lolWe would most definitely stay here again when next visiting my family.

We arrived very late at night and came into a home that had no working heat. The temps outside were in the 40's and the temp inside was in the 50's. Since it was midnight we couldn't reach the host and VRBO had a 20 minute phone wait time so we simply went to bed but we were freezing. There are NO extra blankets or pillows in the house. Finally reached the host in the morning and was told "Oh, there's a switch going down the basement stairs that if it gets flipped the heat will not work." What?? So, no sign on the thermostat to guide you to this very important information. The host took off some for the inconvenience, but honestly, a terrible nights sleep on the first night made a hard start with a 3 year old to tend to the next day. The bedding that is on the beds is all synthetic, flat as a pancake pillows (NO extras in closets) and definitely minimal with not a hint of coziness or luxuriousness. This home is very functional, was clean enough, practical. The kitchen is minimally stocked (but enough). The house has seen better days but since there are very few rentals in the area I'm assuming they get bookings on that fact.Next morning two of us are getting groceries in the car and one adult and the toddler are at the house. They come out of a bedroom and there is a woman standing in the house!! A shock and an unwanted surprise and very much against VRBO policies. Host again contacted and host decides to give a minimal peace offering. NOT cozy as title claims.

Cozy, ranch style home that was a great fit for our family vacation. The home had all the usual amenities with air conditioning in each room (minus one bedroom but a large fan was supplied in its place) and a large backyard that the kids were able to utilize. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy despite the restaurant/bar next door. Check in process was simple and contact with the owner was quick, responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to other families to utilize as well.

Property is old but quaint, host is very accommodating and makes check in super easy. Didn't give it 5 stars only because there are very few places that are good to eat at or get groceries and such in that area, which isn't the hosts fault. And I would definitely not take kids or go alone to pizza place next door to the vrbo, it is definitely not family friendly, and the locals in there make crude jokes, etc. The kids went to the vrbo and we immediately left the pizza place after we got our pizza to go. But again, not the hosts fault, I would just make sure to venture out of Foster for food and entertainment.

Easy in and out! Had all the accommodations we needed. Price was right. Perfect for the kids and the dog.

Great place at an outstanding price!

Really nice little house with three big bedrooms. Delicious homemade cookies waiting for me when I arrived. Nice firepit and outdoor space- my dogs loved running around the yard (not fenced in but my dogs are pretty good at staying close. Having a pizza place right next door made it easy to get dinner and a drink. I was a little worried about noise from the restaurant and street, but I never noticed traffic or people outside. Plenty of antique stores and trails for hiking very close by- it was a great stay!
