You’ll have a great time at this comfortable, spacious 2 story house built in 1885 that’s been stylishly renovated and updated. Near all the local attractions and the Ohio River as well as many easy day trips to surrounding states. A large fenced backyard and porches on the front and back are a pleasant way to enjoy the beautiful weather and kick your feet up. A stay in this beautiful house will definitely elevate your visit to Wild and Wonderful West Virginia! Hope to see you soon!

Family Memories

Had great communication with property owner prior to the stay up today of check-in. House was very comfortable inside and and front porch allowed for leisurely sitting. Backyard was spacious and allowed for large group gatherings . All necessities included, the house is a great gathering spot.

Short Stay In Wheeling

We were heading to TN for a week and decided to stop half way to break up the long drive. We chose this house because of its size and proximity to the WV Penitentiary, which we visited that night. The house was very nice and had everything we needed for our short stay. Michelle was very helpful and responded very quickly!

Moundsville Mock Riot

We stayed to attend the mock prison riot. The trip was a great experience. Short drive to moundsville for dining and shopping and the host was wonderful and nice. We grilled out our last day in town and enjoy the beautiful fenced in back yards privacy.

Loved Everything

This house was one of the best houses ever seen! It was so spacious and very well Decorated! Had my home color schemes throughout the whole house, I couldn't believe it! And the yard! Oh My! And the neighborhood was so quiet and safe! I can't wait to visit again!!

We stayed here recently for my son's wedding. We were looking for a place where the whole family could stay together. This home was perfect! The house itself is beautiful and has obviously been carefully restored/remodeled. There were plenty of rooms for all 11 of us. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The beds were comfortable & there were plenty of basic necessities inside. What really made this great was it allowed all of us to hang out together for the weekend, cook meals together, and catch up. It was a lot cheaper than booking separate hotel rooms for 4 days and then going out to eat for each meal. (Of course, one of us being an actual chef did make the homemade meals that much better!) Our hosts provided all the info we needed beforehand and promptly answered any questions we had leading up to the trip. There's plenty of on street parking as well and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall I would absolutely recommend this home and its hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!
