The lodge was exactly as advertised and the communication with the host, pre-booking, pre-visit, during and post-visit were fantastic. What a fabulous house, area, and overall experience. The only tiny challenge, was finding the driveway. :-)

The lodge was a perfect weekend getaway. Beautiful scenery tucked away in the green woods of PA. Our group had a fantastic time, and enjoyed the river the lodge resides on.

Peaceful & beautiful

This place is absolutely incredible. The house itself was large enough to accommodate our group, the kitchen was great for preparing big meals, and the setting was so lovely--the sound of the running water down the hill was perfect. Glad to have found this place.

So much perfect in such a perfect place!

This cabin was just what we needed! We had 12 people stay. We hiked Cucumber Falls, took photos at Natural Waterslides, went skiing, visited Fallingwater, played games, used the hot tub, and so much more!!! I can't wait to go back in the fall. Such a perfect place.

Wonderful getaway

This cabin was gorgeous and a wonderful getaway in the woods. The hot tub was a great addition and the cabin felt very remote. The cabin was a bit run down but overall very clean. Additionally, the kitchen was not stocked so we were missing basic cooking ingredients or utensils but did make it work. Would come stay again!

Great secluded cabin next to beautiful stream, clean cabin. Slight hiccup checking in with the keypad but was resolved within 15 minutes.

Great base for hiking/sightseeing

Family met for the long holiday weekend. Plenty of room for adults, kids, and a dog. Home was clean and kitchen was well appointed. Family dinners and game nights were a breeze with the large dining table. Bedrooms were more than adequate though the mattresses were a bit firm for some. Satellite wifi kept up connected. Stream just outside the door was very relaxing and picturesque. Not a lot of outdoor space given the home's location. Some old beer cans and empty liquor bottles were left near the hot tub but didn't really ruin our time. Would definitlely look at this property again if we're staying in the area. Thank you!

Family weekend

There were 10 of us - parents, two children + spouses, and 4 grandchildren. Highlight of our stay was campfire with hot dogs & smores, the hot tub, and the fact that it is isolated - no houses within sight.

Family Get Together!

The property exceeded our expectations. So serene and clean. Plenty of room for our 4 families to spread out. Fun memories made playing ping pong, relaxing on the front porch, playing games at the big dining room table and unwinding in the hit tub!

Women’s Weekend

Chief Neimacolin lodge was perfect. Exactly as described, no surprises, except maybe, it was better than we expected. The location is close to Interstae, thus easy access. The running water at the base of the lodge was extra special.

Wilderness

Secluded, when you are close it’s located right near the curve! My family and I enjoyed the cabin. The creek is a huge bonus as you can walk down and enjoy as needed. Would come back! Few restaurants about 10-15 minutes away.

Overall great experience

Loved the isolation and secluded location. 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. Pizza shop close by was very good. Not much area/land to play games or for pets to run around.

No powder room on the main floor so everyone will be using the bathroom that is also used for showers. Laurel Caverns was 15 minutes away.
