Relaxing Retreat

My stay was amazing. The property was clean and nicely appointed and the host, Roy Canton, was always available if I needed something. It had everything I needed and more. It was my home away from home. I stay here whenever I visit St. Croix and recommend this vacation rental to my family and friends. Looking forward to staying here the next time I'm in St. Croix.

Paradise in the Rain Forest

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay with Roy and Bonnie Caton. The house is beautiful and our apartment was so attractive and well appointed! Truly it was a joy to stay there and i wouldn’t hesitate to give my highest recommendations!!!

Paradise in the rain forest

Roy and his wife was very helpful and everything was clean and working properly. The apartment is very quiet and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and was genuinely sad when our family had to leave.

Nature's Ridge

Wonderful!, is the best way to describe my stay at Nature's Ridge. It had all of the amenities I needed. It was my home away from home. It was quiet, relaxing and filled with nature and fresh breezes. The hosts, Roy and Bonnie were amazing and their hospitality was impeccable. I would definitely stay here again on another visit to St. Croix.

Roy is awesome

Great place with washer dryer and full kitchen. Easily accommodate a family of four or 2 freindly coulpes.... limited privacy. Overall experience was great and we enjoyed our stay in the rain forest. Be sure to check out the Tidal pools near carobella, and Boabob tree in the nearby park.

Perfect vacation stay

This property met all of our wishes. The rental was spacious, immaculate, private and everything you could possibly need is there. Roy and Bonnie were gracious, helpful and so nice. It does help to have a Jeep or other high clearance vehicle. I highly recommend this rental, definitely 5 star super owners. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

Ideal and Idyllic

This was a return stay, and I welcomed the peace, comfort, and beauty more than ever. This place and the welcoming generosity of Bonnie and Roy in providing it, makes it a home away from home with the added touches of luxury and everything you could possibly need to have a perfect stay for vacation, work, or a simple and joyful respite. I would give 10 stars if available!!!

I normally do not do reviews unless I have had a terrible experience or an outstanding experience. I have to say that this experience was "OVER THE TOP" in excellence! We loved the property, the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. Communication with the Owner was outstanding. I loved the surroundings and felt so very safe. I will be visiting again in the near future. Anything and everything you needed while away from home was provided. Very awesome experience!

Would highly recommend.

I very much enjoyed my stay here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming down here. It was very clean and with new appliances. The building itself is only a couple years old. Better than most hotels I have ever stayed at. Roy and Bonnie are very nice and helpful. It is located in the middle of the rain forest, so the road is a bit bumpy, but it is central on the island so you can get anywhere you'd like in a short amount of time. And it's nice to not be in the center of town with all the noise and light. Added bonus: They have a power generator which is very useful when there are the occasional island-wide power outages.

5 Stars Not Enough

Not only was our location in the Rainforest beautiful and the house wonderfully kept and supplied (Beach chairs & cooler, too!) but our host was ever so helpful from the moment we arrived, and was patient when our MIA-STX flight got canceled and we scrambled to rebook. Patience... The Island Way.

A Great Stay - HIGHLY Recommended!

A modern, clean, well-built/kept property nestled in the hills about halfway between the airport to the south and Cane Beach to the north. Our host Roy was terrific, the property was spacious and comfortable and it included a full-sized kitchen that allowed us to cook some of our own meals - not have to dine out all the time. There is good air conditioning but at night, if you wanted it off, you could listen to the chirps and clicks and calls of the rainforest critters around you. During the day, you watch an entertaining herd of goats on the neighbor's hillside. It may not be an oceanfront property, but it was an affordable, quality experience and, what the heck, you're on an island anyway so the nearest beaches are only 15-20 minutes away by car. Don't forget that you drive on the left side of the road ;) A great stay; HIGHLY recommended!

Beautiful Place and Surroundings; Great Host

After reading all the glowing reviews for Estate Two Friends on vrbo, I made a week-long reservation for my husband Tom and me. Due to family issues, I stayed home, but Tom went ahead with the stay at Roy and Bonnie's vrbo apartment. A friend of ours stayed in the adjacent, smaller apartment. Below is Tom's review. -- Val Roy was an excellent host. Everything was perfect in this clean unit. Roy was helpful in finding me places to get my flat tire fixed at a good price. Roy and Bonnie were friendly people and I would not hesitate to have them host me any time. The views of the rainforest were filled with birds, goats and cows roaming the road and in the valley. A high clearance vehicle is definitely a positive since the road could be a bit of a challenge for a "low rider".

Wonderful piece of paradise~

We continue to be repeat guests at Roy's and Bonnie's retreat in the rain forest. I LOVE their property, very quiet, easy access to where ever you need to go with the right vehicle (definitely suggest 4=wheel drive). They are excellent hosts, supply pretty much everything you may need, and will do their best to fulfill any requests you may have. Highly recommend!

Quiet, convenient, and CLEAN!!!

This is the cleanest place we have ever rented. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen appliances were in mint condition. The mattresses are more comfortable than the one we have at home (I meant to ask the landlord what brand they are!). It is located in a peaceful rainforest setting, and a pleasant patio overlooks sheep, goats, cattle, trees, and birds. A short walk up the trail leads to a distant ocean view (the rent is very reasonable compared to oceanfront/ocean view rentals.) The location is central to the west side of the island, only a few minutes from the best grocery store, about 15 minutes from Frederiksted, and 15 minutes from the best shore diving sites near Cane Bay on the north shore. The landlord accommodated our need to rinse and dry our dive gear by letting us use the hose, and we could drape everything over the patio railing. He also came to the airport, led us to the grocery store, and then on to the apartment; It would have been hard to find without his assistance, but was easy and convenient once we knew the way.

Clean, spacious with a beautiful setting

Located in the rain forest, the setting is beautiful. The unit was clean and cool, even without the AC running, and we were there in the summer. It even included a washer and dryer. We didn't use the kitchen much but it had everything needed. I would stay here again.

Great place to relax and recharge!

We had a wonderful time during our stay this Holiday. The place is very relaxing, clean and nicely designed, it has everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. Roy is a very accommodating host, we hope to go back soon!

Heaven In the Hills

There are no nicer people on earth than Roy and Bonnie. I was looking for a secluded quiet location and that is exactly what I got. The place is beautiful, and stylish with all the comforts of home. I was in town for work, but these accommodations made it a working vacation. If you stay here you will realize why it is always a 5 star rating.

A wonderful stay at Estate Two Friends!

This place is better than the pictures! We were amazed at how nice it was, and how clean it was!! Beautiful! Quiet and private! Roy and Bonnie were Great hosts. Anything we needed, they were right there to help. We will definitely be back!! Well worth the money.

Paradise in the Rain Forest

Roy and Bonnie have a beautiful home off Mahogany Road, and they have two lovely guest units below which they graciously offer visitors to stay and share in the nature and tranquility of the rain forest. They are the perfect hosts, more than willing to do whatever they could to make our stay pleasant. The unit was furnished with everything we could ask for and more! Do not take their advise of a high-clearance or even a 4-wheel drive lightly, as their road and the drive on Mahogany Road directly to Frederiksted requires such a vehicle. This should in no way turn you off of this property - the rest of the island is easily accessible with better road conditions going east on Mahogany. Since I grew up on the island, and my friends who also stayed there with me had also lived out west for years, the roads were part of what we were looking for - a nostalgic visit to our old neighborhood, all part of the way we lived. It is very peaceful and quiet here, but within easy reach of anything else you'd like to experience on the island. I really can't express our extreme satisfaction with our decision to stay here for our reunion - not just a lovely location, but lovely hosts as well! Thank you, again, Roy and Bonnie!

Relaxing

Staying at this estate is one of the most relaxing, peaceful and joyful experiences I have ever experienced. Roy and Bonnie will treat you like family and do everything within their abilities to ensure your stay is enjoyable. I've stayed at this estate 4 or 5 times in the past 6 months and can only say positive things because each time was so enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.

Best home away from home in St. Croix.

This has been the fourth or fifth time that I've chosen to stay at this estate and I have no regrets. Roy and Bonnie are two of the best people/landlords one could ever have. If you ask for something to make your trip more enjoyable Roy and Bonnie will do whatever it takes to get it for you. This is in my opinion the best place to stay in St. Croix and I know because I've stayed at several other estates in the past year. Thank you Roy and Bonnie.
