The host responded very quickly. The apartment is exactly as shown. The pool area was very small, but served as well for cool downs after days out.

Property great, host very responsive to all questions, liked location, a little loud with traffic and building next door but overall excellent stay and will stay again.

Location, location, location! We stayed at this property for the expressed interest of touring around Barra and visiting with my wife's parents who winter in Melaque.The property is located just a few short steps from the bus stop and taxi stand, both with regular and quick service to Melaque and back.The shops, food venues, and markets of Barra are all around you. The rooftop pool gives you a 365 degree view all around you as this is one of the tallest buildings in the area.Apartment is clean, and we felt very safe in this area.Only downside was the hot water. The building uses an On Demand system (on the roof), and water use during peak periods may leave you with cooler water the lower down in the building you are if others above you are using hot water at the same time. Easily worked around by using the water at different times, and understandable for the area.Host communication was excellent throughout the stay!

Great location.

The apartment is only about 50 meters from the beach, so the sound of the waves coming in is very peaceful. The apartment is very poorly equipped. Only one pot and one pan to cook meals with. No cupboards, no dresser. Bed is very comfortable. Deck is very hot during the day, so not really useable. Pool on the roof was nice, as one could sit in it and watch the whales in the bay. Recommended, in spite of the inadequacies.
