Walking into the room is magically misleading, in a great way. The room is in an apartment building, but it is nothing like any apartments I've been in. This space is very clean, has nice appliances, and is located just outside of town. That translates to a quiet, clean space to use as your base to explore everywhere that is Steamboat Springs!

Andre, "magically misleading" is exactly the kind of first impression worth arriving to, and knowing the clean, quiet setup with those appliances gave you a solid base made the trip better from the start. Steamboat has a lot to pull you out the door, so it helps to come back to somewhere settled and calm.

Nice and clean. Only downside was room was under front entrance of building and heavy footsteps could be heard.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Hosts were really responsive. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. Only note I have is to be aware that there is 0 natural light. Perfect if you’re in town and just need a landing spot while doing other things - super cozy!

The condo has been nicely renovated with thoughtful touches. Very convenient to downtown both drive and walking distance. Reiterating other reviews to set expectations: It is garden level and there is no natural light that comes from the windows.

Review

The condo was beautifully redone with modern decorations. Kitchen cupboards need handles to make opening easier. It was in the basement so was pretty dark. Couldn't find bus stop to ski area.

Traffic Jam

The room is right under the main entrance to the building, you hear everyone and everything that comes in. The couch needs to go back to the '60s where it came from. As for the bed...I have slept better on a 4x8 sheet of plywood. If you happen to be there when they have their 10:30pm smoke alarm test, don't count on getting any sleep, that is if you happened to fall asleep on the plywood bed.
