Built in 1894, the delightful Inn on Fleming was once the residence of Board of Education chair Glynn Archer until it was transformed into what is now a serendipitous tropical refuge, boasting 9 unique rooms and suites and tucked into a peaceful residential street. You are only two blocks from the Historic Seaport and a short stroll to 5 star restaurants, bars, shopping and the endless allure of famous Duval Street. Whether you're looking to hook your catch of the day, visit upscale art galleries, or swim with the dolphins, let us be your home away from home in paradise.

DETAILS AND AMENITIES...
The magic begins as you step onto our cozy wraparound porch with comfortable and plentiful seating, where you are immersed in the unique sights and sounds of our charming neighborhood. Retreat to our tropical garden to savor a cup of coffee in the morning. Sip on a crafted cocktail in the afternoon and take a dip in our lush tropical pool featuring a soothing and relaxing waterfall. Indulge yourself with a favorite novel or explore the internet with free Wi-Fi. All of our rooms include an en-suite bathroom, Serta PerfectSleeper Prestige Suite 11 Mattresses, fine linens, flat screen TV, countertop ice machine, coffeemaker and a mini-fridge, as well as tropical garden views. Our concierge services can advise you about all the things to do, including reservations to snorkel, kayak in the mangrove channels, or relax on an evening sunset sail.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS...
The Flagler Room, located on the first floor, is a delightful place to decompress at the end of a fun day. Enjoy your slumber on your king bed, savor a cup of keurig coffee, and enjoy a show on the flat screen TV. This room also offers a wheel-in shower for easy access.

OUTDOOR LIVING...
Find your serenity and let your mind melt, listening to the soft rush of our pool waterfall. Enjoy cozy conversation and frosty beverages under the shaded pool tables, surrounded by lush foliage and sultry island breezes. Stroll through our garden that envelops you in lush mature landscaping and soothes your soul with tropical breezes. Bikes are available to rent for your outdoor adventures.

We do not have our own parking but there is plenty of free on-street parking. Please refrain from parking in spots marked "resident permit".

We were able to walk or take the trolley to most attractions. We arrived early and if the room is ready they will let you know and you can get in early which was really nice. Room and house were clean, house was beautiful, kitchen area nice. Bed was A little soft for me but not bad. We did the Yankee Freedom Ferry and could walk there.

Reasonable walk to shops and restaurants. Coffee supplies and purified water were available, soap, shampoo, etc. Requested extra pillows and they were dropped off promptly. Hardly ever heard any other guests. A/C and fans worked great--an absolute necessity in FLA. The host was quick to respond to texts. Would definitely come back.

Perfect location, easy biking distance to duval street, very clean/well maintained, far enough away to be quiet. Huge room with new decor, coffee maker. No free breakfast per se but daily oranges in the kitchen area were nice! Small pool and reasonably shaded sitting area outside also very cool. Innkeeper available by phone/text with prompt responses - recommend specifying daily or other room service (not routinely provided) for future stays. On site bike rental for good price a major bonus as this is the best transportation in old town Key West! We'll be back!

Separate air conditioning unit, modern bathroom, retro small frig and coffee maker. The community kitchen was fully stocked with beverages, yogurts and breakfast items. The front covered porch was large and comfortable. The back yard was private and the soaking pool was refreshing. I would definitely come back. The location was convenient to all major areas in the Old Town District.

Why haven’t I stayed here before????

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I left I asked myself why haven’t I ever stayed here on my short visits to Key West. The Inn Keepers are on top of it, fast to respond and extremely friendly! I have never felt more like I was staying at friend’s house instead of a B&B/hotel than I did when there. Easy walk to any place you wanted to go & if needed they have bicycles on the property you can rent. This is definitely my go to place to stay on my long weekend trips!!!

Things to consider

If you need a LATE checkout it does not exist here. Find another listing. I wish I did. When we booked it said it was a possibility. Listing said they had secure luggage storage. That does not exist either. Communication was a huge issue. Texts to get help went unanswered. TV in our room NEVER worked our whole visit even with repeated requests. Missed college football playoffs. Internet was spotty or just did not work. Request for soap to wash hands in the bathroom and new pool towels got a quick response. Liz tried her best to make things right and was kind but there was just too many issues to count. Landscape contractors right outside our windows for three days straight. We were never notified contractors would be on property. Overall the house is in a great location. We could walk or bike everywhere from here. Very clean. Happy hour was a delight to unwind on the porch. Continental breakfast was nice to have in a pinch. Check in was an easy process as was check out. Our room photos were accurate.

Uns wurde sehr beim Einchecken geholfen und das Haus und das Zimmer war bezaubernd eingerichtet.
