One and done
Checking in was simple and the ocean view was great but we were not made aware that construction would be going on. There were workers showing up via scaffolding on to the 20th floor balcony to paint at different hours. First thing in the morning while people were still sleeping, in the afternoon also. Extremely awkward with no warning. We were woken up to grinding/sanding, some sort of loud noises. Again, no warning this would be going on. We were under the assumption the outdoor pool would be open when we arrived as the listing said until late March. It’s completely under construction and not even close to being completed which means you also have to walk all through the parking garage and around the whole building to get to the beach. The elevators in the building broke down multiple times, including stopping abruptly while on it. Furniture could use updating, my husband was poked by a screw when he sat on one of the stools because it is just sticking up out of the seat of the chair. Ottoman and couch are severely stained. I contacted host upon checkin because the freezer was full of ice flying out at you when you opened the door. She was quick to respond. Messaged her again about our concerns with the construction and days later there was no response. After checking out she said she would check with the owner about a partial refund and haven’t heard from her since. Overall, it was a one time stay for us there.
